We're buying our suits rather than hiring as it works out about the same price by the time you added on the damage waiver etc, so the men are getting to keep their suits. In addition we're getting something combined for our parents (theatre tickets for inlaws and prob thomas cook vouchers for my parents). Best men will also get some nice cuff links.

Our flower girls will get a me to you teddy set (teddy and bridesmaid photo frame) and a pair of earrings.

For your 11 year old bridesmaid what about a charm bracelet? Wanted to get one for my flowergirls but apparently they already have one each!! Grr!!

Perhaps for the men you could get them something different like a karting experience? Depends how much you're looking at spending.

Hi Mrs Davis,

I am getting the girls a bag to match their BM outfits and I've personalized them with antique brooches and I'll fill them with some makeup goodies as well.

For our parents I think we'll do vouchers for something like the theatre or to a nice restaurant.

For the boys we're thinking we might get them personalized flasks but beyond that we haven't put much thought in!

Love the charm bracelet idea for the girls, we have 3 girls age 7-12 so that'd be perfect, thanks for the tip!

I feel a bit cheap now! We bought all the men (dad's, best man and ushers) some lush cufflinks from Charles Thyritt in Jan when they were in the sale and they match our colour theme really well.

For my 2 adult BM's I've got them beautfiul silver necklaces with a silver shell that they can wear on the day (it's a beach theme wedding). My 10 year old niece BM has some silver stuf starfish earrings.

The mum's both have a decent bouquet ordered.

Nothing exciting but at least within budget!! x

We got our ushers some cufflinks in the sale at H Samuel in Jan and have had them engraved with their initials.
We're thinking of getting the best man either a wallet or a watch, not sure which yet.
The Mums are going to be given the flower arrangements that we're getting for the entrance of the ceremony room, but not sure about Dads. Should you get them something?
Chief BM is getting a Lovelinks charm bracelet, but a bit stuck for ideas for others BMs (16 and 10). Does anybody have daughters this age and can make suggestions please?

Thanx for all your replies!

Well, had a bit of a break through with the men. h2b wants gifts that are practical, so we came up with personalised usb sticks (all very computery guys!) and well within our £20pp budget. So i am very pleased about that!

For our bridesmaids we are getting Radley purses, as I too want to give a practical gift that will hopefully be used.
Our flower girl, we have got a photo frame - in the local gift shop for £3 - and its lovely! and also a personalised bracelet for £7 from ebay!
The 11 year old, we have decided to get the same as the flower girl (she is our daughter) and then get her something else that she wants after the wedding.
The mothers we are either going to get a bouquet of flowers or an engraved vase, not decided yet.

So that just leaves h2b father really, im really pleased with the progress we have made in 24 hours!

Just the very thing I'm looking for! But it's very difficult to find a good supplier - most firms online only offer bulk buys for promotional gifts. Could you reveal your source for the usb sticks, pretty please?

We are not spending alot of money on presents as we have a small budget we using our centrepiece flowers and vases as presents for both mums, h2bs dads fiancee(almost stepmum) both adult bms, my sil, nanna, and great aunty am going to do a personal thank you card to each of them.am gonna get a nice frame and a photo of him giving me away for my grandad. Am doing party bags for the kids who are bridesmaid, flower girl and pageboys so i think that will be enough. H2b is sorting out bestman gift whos a keen gardener so he is thinking of something he will like and use in garden. They are small presents within our budget, we are having favours on the tables for all guests and also i want to do a pic n mix sweetie table, would rather spend money on that than expensive presents that most wouldnt use ever again x

We've decided to go for token gestures rather than expensive presents because it's all just getting a little bit out of hand money wise.

Also we're arranging to have the presents placed in the guests rooms during the speechs to speed things up a bit - so we'll just need to say thank you rather than hand everything out

I'm getting my Dad some cufflinks with mine and my brothers finger print on
The ushers are all getting engraved cufflinks
My girls are getting spoilt
I've got them each some Jo Malone goodies, a day at a spa, a links of London bracelet and some Kirsten Goss earrings to wear on the day.
My mum is also getting spoilt and I'm giving her an engraved bracelet.
No idea about H2B's parents. I'm giving my parents theirs in the morning. They're paying more for the wedding and so I feel justified in spending more on them. I don;t want to make H2B's parents uncomfortable which is why my parents get their gifts in secret!
