Another thing ticked off the list! Yey!

Hello Ladies!

I am just so excited I had to post on here! We got confirmation of our honeymoon booking today!

We're not going until December (over Xmas and New Year) as I can't get time off uni during term time.

Just had to share my excitment!

We are not taking our til Jan, feels like such a long time past the wedding but then only really just over 6 months to go so im sure its all going to fly by

I am glad we are going in dec, means the wedding celebrations won't end too soon and that we have something to look forward to after the mayhem!!
We are going to Baros in the Maldives. Such a beautiful island... Paradise! Just setting up a gift list with turquoise holidays at the mo which is great as it's free of charge.

of kennels! You lucky thing stretch out the celebrations, are you asking for your guests to contribute to the honeymoon? What are u studying at Uni? Be good for you to have a break too xx

The Maldives are stunning - you'll have such an amzing time......Good to have a bit of a break after the wedding as you'll be able to enjoy being Mr & Mrs and relax a bit before you go - then you won't be asleep for the whole of the first week, like the rest of us probably will!! lol x x

Sparrow - yes we are asking for contributions towards the trip - turquoise holidays are great as they set one up and any money that guests put towards it can either go on specific trips or experiences or can just be taken off our final payment (we'll prob go for the latter as they say it's best to book things out there...) Where are you heading?
I'm studying for a masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy at uni - so by the time the honeymoon comes I'll be in desperate need of a break!!

Going later also means I wont miss my Granddad's 90th bday which is 3 days after our wedding! So lots of celebrating going on!!

3 weeks hopefully, after taking naff all holiday this year i have already cleared it with the boss for a nice long one atthe begining of next year.

Fab news that you're all booked up, we booked ours yesterday afternoon!
We're getting married 9/10/10 and then 12/10/10 we fly off to Mexico, we're staying at Excellence Playa Mujere's!
So excited!

turquoise holidays sound like a good company, we've been wondering whether to ask people to contribute to a honeymoon fund as we don't need anything really for the house but i don't want to sound like they are paying for our holiday! ARGH xx
