Hi pinkroses329, imgetting married in manchester too! I used this website to look for venues http://www.weddingvenues.com/ just type in the area you want to search. Have you got anything else your looking for? I have a great manchester based venue dresser, £1.75 per chair! their website is: http://www.divinedesigns.info if you want a look! good luck xx

Confetti.co.uk has a good venue finder. I imagine you will be paying a lot for a big venue as they are few and far between and require a lot of staff! I went to a wedding in Bolton a couple of years ago - some big spa hotel - can't remember the name but they had about 500 guests. x

aww thanks for ur reply girls, the quote we have had for a venue, davenport green hall is £24,000! my in laws to be and H2be nearly had a heart attack and now they are considering a wedding abroad lol!
However i cant find anything to help me with an indian wedding abroad.
Im desperatly trying to cut costs with this quote, davenport are charging 2.50 for chair covers so £1.75 is great!, i also need to see if i can get cutlery, crockery, cheaper anywhere else.
food is a big cost coz we have 600 people in the day and 400 in the evening, and it will be indian food, the total for food came up to £7,500.
i still need to add videographer, photographer, and dj and decorations on top of the quote!!! if u have any suggesstions they would be greatly appreciated!
