Me! Ours is 22nd May - you're getting married on my 30th!
I went in to see Vic last week. He's brilliant, so helpful and it seems like nothing's too much hassle for them xx

I was exactly the same -asked him one question and he answered about 20 in one go!
We're pretty much organised. Have to sort out favours and our table plan, but can't do that yet as our rsvp date on the invites isn't for a few weeks. I'm getting really excited - my hen's next Saturday so it's all starting to feel very real!
How are you getting on?xx

hi we are having our reception there next year, have most things sorted except the dresses which we are going to look at in 2 weeks! i have started to think about table decorations, are you using the flowers and vases provided or are you using something else? As the tables are quite small i aint sure what to use.

When i was there last week, the room was set up for a wedding and they had low vases. I have to say, I wasn't keen - Mum, Vic and i all said that it looks much better with some height o the tables. We're having the lilies as I wanted lilies anyway and my bouquet is lilies with cream avalanche roses xx

Hi
How exciting about your henny being next week. my one is going to be on the may day holiday weekend.
everything is coming along as well as it could i guess, seem to have most things done or at least know what i am doing lol. going to see the florist tomo, H2B knows a wholesaler so he told us there was no rush and not to get pressured into things by the high street florists. I havn't sent out my invites yet, still waiting on them being finished but i think they were planned for being sent out at the end of march beging of april.
Mrs g smith
We are going for the tall vases and lillies too. I agree with mrs H. The tables are rectangles and need something to pull them up if you know what I mean. It is slightly different for round tables as there is more room and can get away with things like fish bowls.
Are either of you adding any other decoration to the place? I though about some balloons but too many can border on the tacky side, its knowing how many and where to stop lol

We're getting chair covers. I stalk the Aberdeen Photo website to see if the new photos inspire me, and one couple a while ago had chair covers and it looked lovely.
We've got a bit of a butterfly thing going on, so I'm considering those butterfly place cards that sit on the wine glasses that confetti sell - we got our invites there and they match perfectly, I just can't decide if it'd look a bit much.
I think that's about it! We sent our invites on Thursday, and have had 11 acceptances already! (admittedly one was my bridesmaid, but still very excited!) xx

oh my god
I have a thing about butterflys and wanted the butterfly place cards that go on the glasses but opted to have them matching all my other stationery. my flower girls have butterflys on their dresses and a couple of other things lol.
we are having chair covers aswell, getting them from j and s up in cove. our colours for the wedding are black and fuschia so its all tying in with that.
What style of covers have you gone for. Sandra has tight ones that fit snuggly around the chairs and she has the linen ones. she also has the organza bows and silk bows.
tis quite exciting talkin to someone who is getting married at the same venu. x

Sandra's doing our chair covers too!
We're getting the linen ones, with light blue organza bows. Have you met her? We went in to see her when she was setting up a room one weekend - she's lovely.
We've got butterflies on our cake, my flowergirls have butterfly hair accessories, our stationery has butterflies on, and I'm making a table plan that will have some on too. We're also naming our tables after butterflies. And to think, I didn't want a 'theme'!

I'm getting married there too in July. Haven't seen their room set up and already have table centrepieces. And their fishbowlls! lol. Never mind, we have them now so not changing them.
We're having them do the flowers for the top table. I actually didn't realise that they did the other tables as well.
We're putting our invites out in a couple of weeks. She's starting to make them next week.
We're pretty organised i think. Will need to go and see them at the end of next month to give them half the money.
We got our reminder from the travel agent today to say that the rest of the honeymoon is to be paid in May so going to go down next month and pay it.
I'm so excited and can't wait for July.
And MrsH220510, I read the thread where you mentioned your going to dusk for your henny and thought it sounded like a good idea so going there too and going to phone ciao napolli to see if they have a table. xx
