I'm having major cake wobbles... and suffering from lack of inspiration...

I'm getting married on bonfire night and ultimately looking for something a bit bonfire / fireworkey... but I thought if I could have a peek at some alternative wedding cakes it might give me some ideas....

Hope you can help me out!...

Ours is not very helpful to you - but it was brilliant and I loved it! We got married on international speak like a pirate day, and had a big pirate ship as ours - complete with Kraken at the back, captain Dave and I was the figurehead. There was underwater treasure on one side, and some sharks, and mermaids and best of all - billowing sails.

It was brilliant. Tasted good too!






My advice is - don't think about what's out there and what you can get, or what other people have had, but work out what your dream cake would be. And then see if you can find someone who will make it - we went through a string of cake people who wouldn't/couldn't till we got our lady

Wow that cake is amazing!
We are also getting married bonfire night and I can't think of anything to fit in with it, I think we are going to have cup cakes and a top cake. In the top cake I am going to have one of these type toppers:

and 2 heart shaped sparklers for the cutting of the cake. We are going to serve the cup cakes as 'desert' and i would love to put mini sparklers in them to serve but think it may be tricky...

That's not unusual, but the best i have come up with!

I really like the cheesecake idea.. yum!!!
Sparkler - great topper!! We were also thinking of cupcakes - maybe with multi-coloured star sprinkles and a matching starburst topper, but I keep having major wobbles about it wondering if there could be something better for us!!! aarrrggghh!!!!!

They are so gorgeous and have so many different flavours! I think we're trying to whittle our choices down to 5 different types. Current favourites include oreo, banana & chocolate, chocolate orange, raspberry & white chocolate, strawberry and passionfruit. Mmmmm, I want cake now! Nom nom nom!

A mixture I think! Sarah, the "cupcake lady" said that she could either decorate them all the same but I think they look gorgeous anyway (if you look at the gallery on the website) so we'd be happy with all the different flavours on display
