coach quotes.....central glasgow

anyone recommend a good cvoach company who dont charge stupid costs for a return journey in central scotland?...

Yeah I'd like to know the cheap coach places too, I'm struggling to find someone that's decent prices. I didn't expect to pay for coaches at all then when h2b talked me into it (as it's mostly for his family) I never expected it to cost so much!

call different compaines then play them off against each other tell them you can get a lower price so what can they do to beat it.

have you tried first buses with the wedding fleet?

haggel with different companies tell them that you can get a lower price so what can they offer. have you tried the wedding fleet with first buses dont know how much it is but its a try eh?

I'm hiring a 70 seater coach from a company called Doig's and I found there prices were really reasonable. Their phone number is 0141 554 5555. They have different sizes of busses. x

yes i tried first bus, £425, and doigs £335.....only going central glasgow to church in dumbarton then onto rhu,helensburgh.....
will keep looking.....!

We got our cheapest quote from Whitestar coaches. First bus were extortionate - £360 for a 20 minute one-way journey!

Get some quotes and then provisionally book what you think you will need. Our friend got buses only to find that they weren't filled so could have had smaller.

Knowing this, we are having a bit in our reply cards to confirm if transport is required and we'll then get coaches the right size and save a bit of money

I must have called over 15 different coach companies to try and find the cheapest one ! (im very determined lol) I've chosen a lanarkshire based one as that's where I'm from. But one of the Glasgow ones that I found were reasonable were Doigs of Glasgow. Also, the Firstbus group, the ones that do all the public transport, do a wedding fleet, they look the same as their coaches, but they are all white and they are very reasonably priced as well. Believe me, it is very worth phoning around, you would not believe what one company charge compared to the other, its almost double the price in some cases !

Have a look at Allander coaches in Milngavie wer £500 for a 70 seater with 5 pick ups and 5 drops off in the evening, think this is really good as its a return journey!
