Hi Ladies,

I'm in a bit of a predicament. The bridesmaid dress I like is £180 and I have four bridesmaids plus a flower girl, so it's getting a bit pricey. A friend of a friend told me to look at bestbridalprices.com or houseofbrides.com. It does have the dress I want at almost half the price, but I'm just a bit dubious. I'm wondering what the catch is, are the dresses maybe not as good quality? Has anyone used these sites before, can they recommend them?

Is it a dress they could wear again after ? Im sure if you explain to your bridesmaids about money issue maybe ask if they would be prepared to pay half towards their dresses ...

My bridesmaids is paying half towards theirs - maybe the flowergirl's dress can be got from either bhs or monsoon ... as they are quite reasonable ... Hope this helps

I got my bm dresses from house of brides and they are exactly the same as the ones over here but half the price!! Im in the same situation, 4 adult bms but loved Alfred Angelo Bm dressses which were £155 in the shop's and worked out at £77 from HOB!!! A friend of mine lives in the states so I got them ordered to his address and he brought them when he came to visit. however for $99 you can have them shipped to the uk! Well worth it, im so so pleased with mine and would def recommend them!

Hi - just to add I have used House of Brides.....5 adult bridesmaid & just over half the price including postage !!!

My dresses arent here yet - not due until the middle of May but after reading many comments/threads on here I decided to go for it !!
