I'm having green bm dresses, and then the flowers will be in pink!
I'm just in the process of doing my stationary and thats all in pink too, as i couldnt find the right shade of green(and wasnt 100% sure if i'd defo go for green bm!!)
So my question is, will it look silly having green bm dresses, and then evrything else in pink? HOw else could i incorporate the green? I did think table runners, but will it matter if they're not the right shade?

I think it will be fine to have the green dresses and everything else pink. You could have green ribbon around the flowers or a bit of greenery in the bouquets. You could add a green ribbon or green inserts to the pink invitations (but I'm reading your post as though you're making your own so ignore me if I've read it wrong).
What centrepieces are you having? Could you have pink and green? Or pink flowers in clear vases with green ribbon/material/beads in the vase? Or big pillar candles with green ribbon and pink flowers?

Greens can be tricky if they are not the same shade I think.
I had green BMs dresses, but our invites had a similar green in them. My hubbie and his best man had green cravats (that matched the dresses - we had them made) and green in the pattern in their waistcoats. The main colour in our flowers were pinks but there was lots of green foliage in there too to bring in that colour.
Table runners would be good, but I think they would need to be similar to the BMs dresses. How about green table confetti?

ooh forgot to mention we're alsp hoping for green cravats for the men, if we can find similar sort of colour!!
littlemissleek, i am making my own invites but have ordered all my stuff already, really struggled to find the right green!!
Some fab ideas though ladies thankyou!
Table centre pieces are going to be 3 tall bud vases with gerbras in them, so i'll ask the florist to add some greenery to these. I think i'm going to try abd find some green ribbon to use for the name cards and table plan!!

Hi almostMRSroche
How strange i'm going to be a Mrs Roach too but spelt differently. I am too also having green bridesmaid dresses and our colour theme is green,Ivory and Pink. The green dresses we are having are alfred angelo in Celadon. My bridesmaids are having ivory and pink flowers with a greenery boarder. Can I ask what green you have gone for? My green is more of a light olive but I have struggled to match the colour but with a bit of searching I have managed to match things up. We are also having matching cravats which we can hire from another bridal shop. For the tables we are having green petals and crystals scattered with the centre piece being a martini glass with matching flowers as the bouquets and also little fairy lights. There is a lady on ebay that does table plans and place cards who is very reasonable and will colour match any green. She has done all my stationary and my table plan is only costing £25 for a large one,its really good quality too. x

I am having green and pink too! With cream as well! My BMs are in sage green, and will be holding cream and green bouquets, mine will be the same but with pink added. Myh2b cravat will be green, and so is the ribbon on the cake. I think if you add some greenary to the flowers it will all tie in perfectly.
We are having pink and cream centrepeices, with folage so that all ties in too. I don't think you need to worry at all. xxx

like someone else said, as long as they're similar tones you can get away with anything - so jewel colours go together, pastels go together etc.
we've got green with bits of yellow and cream. one green bridesmaid, one cream. the groom and best man have a darker forrest green but all the other greens are quite a bright mossy green. flowers are yellow though.
anyway - just mix it up - think some people can get a bit obsessed with only having one colour!

I'm having a turquoise green colour for my dresses and going for a dusky pink for the flowers. To link it we're having green ties and pink buttonholes and pink and green favour boxes and pink and green beads around the candles. Like the others have said - look at the tones of the colours, go to B&Q and look at the paint charts to give you ideas of what goes together.

Hi,
We to are having green dresses with Ivory sashes. I am planning to have green bows on the chairs, the men will be wearing green cravats but pretty much everything else is pink! I think it will all come together lovely and not silly at all!
MRSRoach2be can you please tell me how easy it was to hire the cravats in the same colour? We also have Celdadon with Alfred Angelo.

ooh i'm having green & black mini choc favours for the ladies that need to tied in bundels, so could use green ribbon, and also going to attach a little tag to these, possibly with a quote of some sort (not to sure yet), so could incorporate the colours into this!!
Thanks ladies, you;ve given me loads of ideas!!

Javery I was at first going to have the cravats made but I couldn't find a colour match for the celadon as its an unusual sahde of green. I eventually found a bridal shop called cloud nine in Fareham which is where I live where they hire out cravats in all the colours of the Alfred Angelo collection. Where do you live? It might be worth asking around the local bridal shops that stock Alfred Angelo who also hire out the mens suit and see if they also hire out the cravats. My bridal shop where I got my dress from could order the extra material in the Celadon colour and have the cravats made but they wanted £30 a metre!!!!! Good Luck x
