Hi everyone!!

Have just logged on so am new to all this! Am so excited and there are so many ideas on here - everyone seems to helpful too!!

Am getting married this year, church and venue tying together this week! Looking at either 11th Sept or 2nd Oct - still deciding which to go for!

Really want to get cracking with the invites as soon as the detail sorted but want something funky and different, which can also then tie in with the theme for the day. Considered yellow and white spots with yellow bridesmaid dresses but then I saw a wedding with yellow theme and it was a bit washed out against the white linen so am now considering chocolate and turquoise but can't find any invites to match this! Anyone any suggestions? I would find it fun to make my own if I could find the right card but again, am struggling - any help appreciated :\)

Hi it depends on the kind of invite that you want, pdacardand craft do lots of colours and you can order a colour swatch of everything so you can look at the colours in real life. They do good priced pocketfolds as well. If you go to www.pinkpetticoat.co.uk you can download paper sets in lots of colours so you can print out the colour/pattern as you want.

If you get plain card say in turquoise and then line in a chocolate patterned paper it would look lovely.
This is th kind of thing that I did with my invites...

Hope that helps..

I got my stationery from Hiptwist (www.hiptwist.co.uk), and I remember then having at least a few invites with coloured polka dots on which I think they could do in other colours too.

I would definitely recommend them anyway!
