Subject: Which dress?
Hey all,

I know there are lots of these threads asking which dress people prefer, and I know it all comes down to personal opinion, but I'm stuck!

We're getting married at the end of August and I STILL haven't bought a dress - went looking yesterday and have found three that I really like. I suspect I know which one I like best, but it's waaaay more expensive than the other two and I'm not sure I can justify that sort of money.

The first one is a Mon Cheri:

The second is a Ronald Joyce:

And the third, I can't remember the designer!

The second one actually has a very similar length train to the third, but you can't really see it in the photo. And although the first one is shown in gold, I would have whichever one I choose in ivory. The halterneck strap on the first is also detachable.

Any opinions?

Thanks! x

I think this is the third one? I will admit bias to Mori Lee as I found them amazingly flattering

i love the 2nd one - the ronald joyce one.

i don't like the look of the fabric of the 1st (not the colour, i mean the fabric itself) and the 3rd seems pretty too but the pic is so small, i can't see it in detail! x

Thanks for all the opinions - it's really helpful to know what other people think. Unfortunately I'm a very indecisive person at the best of times, and I haven't got long to make my mind up; because I've left it so late the dress shop is starting to get very nervous about being able to order it in time, so I need to order by Tuesday or they won't be able to guarantee that it will be ready in time! It's frustrating because usually if I was trying to decide something important I'd chat to h2b about it, but obviously with this I can't.

If I'm honest, if it wasn't for the money issue I think I'd already know which one I'd choose, but it's £200-300 more than the other two, and although I prefer it, I'm not sure if I prefer it ENOUGH to justify that sort of difference! My Mum's paying for the dress, but I feel that asking her to pay that much is a bit unfair, given that she and my Dad are already helping us out quite a lot. Aargh.
