Subject: Edinburgh hen do - where to eat?
Hi ladies,

I'm planning my best friends hen do and am trying to think of somewhere we can go for food in Edinburgh - having a complete mind block today so i need some help!! :\?

There's likely to be around 20-30 (maybe more) of us, ideally looking at £20-ish per person, nice food, nice atmosphere, central Edinburgh. Where do you recommend?

Thanks xxx

I'm not actually from Edinburgh but this is where we're going for my hen night. We've booked Frankensteins for something to eat and it's £19.95 each. This includes 3 course meal and a drink with their hen package. You get reserved seating and we'll just stay there all night. x

Vittorias on the Bridge is really nice Italian and very lively - they have a big party room downstairs which would be perfect for you.

You're only a 5 minute walk into the Grassmarket which is full of bars and clubs. Frankensteins is only a 5 minute stumble too.

10 minutes in a taxi will take you down in George Street which has more 'upmarket' bars.

Mines is 7th August. About 18-20 of us, going for a 2 hour Dirty Dancing class, then Vittorias, then probably Frankensteins then down the grassmarket.

Mines is 19th June and there's 29 of us. We've booked into the Premier Inn and we're doing a 2 hour Grease party during the day and then going to Frnakensteins for a 3 course hen menu and then just finishing the night there. x

Hi I'm from Edinburgh and have to say the best place to find offers for whats on is probably 5pm.co.uk. It depends what your looking for. Cafe Andaluz on George Street is a bit different - Spanish food and hink they have £15 offer for Sangria, 3 tapas and a dessert on there. There is also Negotiants which is a 5 minute walk from Frankensteins (and upstairs from Medina). They are much cheaper but the food is lovley for what you pay. Its much more informal (its actually a bar) but one of the few places you come away from thinking you should have paid more!

L'Amore D'Italia at the west end is good for large parties. Also, Guiliano's opposite the Playhouse and Omni centre. xx

You could try the buffalo grill in stockbridge, food is reasonable, and its boyb, i booked it for my birthday, they do simple food like salmon and steak but also things like ribs with sauce chicken in sauce with corn bread, its has a mexican kind of feel to it, think its bout £15-£20 per head.
