Hi Girls

Just wondering if you have any tips or ideas for entertainment extra whilst we are having pictures taken. We are getting married in a catholic church and then having reception at another venue so there is not really much to do at the Church whilst waiting for us to finish.

My wedding is the 3rd July so hoping it hot and as such was thinking or icecream truck or champagne trike what do you think?

I went to a wedding where a magician went around the guests which I thought was brilliant.

We're having some dude doing origarmi at ours! I think - does that sound to wacky and random!!?!? I'm trying to be stylish and sophisticated but I'm worried I'm making some crazy decisions!

People must have serious cash to provide all this stuff when really its not neccessary and people actually don't mind relaxing and just enjoying the day. It is not a huge amount of time to just wait, on what it really the bride and groom's day. It's a marriage, not a circus!

If it's not going to be a huge amount of time having the photographs taken would your guests not just be happy catching up with friends and relatives x

We're having some giant garden games outside (Connect 4 / Jenga etc) for when photos are being taken and people are waiting for food. I don't expect many people would play but just wanted to have a little something there to keep the children occupied if nothing else!

And plus MIL2B is a school teacher so we are borrowing them from the school and its not costing us a penny! Bargain!!

We're just having drinks (champers, beer and wine) and a few nibbles while photos are finished etc. I don't think you need to provide lots of extra stuff. People are happy catching up and enjoying the lovely venue you've chosen. We have a nice view and it's a fair size so people can just wonder around.

Our guy is a friend of the family and is doing it for free! Now I'm not so sure we'll take up his offer if it's going to turn our wedding into a circus!!!

Amy LGK I would go with it, but how about between wedding breakfast and evening do, this is usually when people need entertaining more than photo time
I love the photo time at weddings and usually take loads of pics of my own then!!
