Hey, yes, they did my wedding a year past i October and they were brill. We had hair and make up for me, my mum and 3 bridesmaids.
Couldn't recommend them enough! I still see the girls at my gym.
I live in Kilmarnock, are you Ayrshire too? xxx

Hey there, yeah I live in Kilmarnock to. Is that you in the pic for your profile (I assume it is but not sure how the website works lol). If so you look lovely. Cant really see the make up as its not a close up but I love the hair and I have long dark hair to and want something similar. I am getting married at the Gailes in Irvine. Where did you get married? Tell me all about your dress, flowers, etc as I love hearing all about weddings - my friends are all fed up hearing about it lol.

I wish I was getting married this year. Mine seems ages away but I'm sure it will fly by. The only worry I have is my dress is sort of fishtail style and I saw on a post that someones sister had a fishtail dress and couldnt walk or dance properly and had to change for the reception. I only walked a few steps in the shop but the girls who worked in it were great and would have said surely if that was the case as they pointed out other faults with dresses I tried on which didnt suit. I've posted a topic to ask if anyones heard of that but no-one has replied. I'm probably just worrying over nothing.

I'm sure you will be fine, if it was an issue these forums would be flooded with brides lamenting over their inability to walk hehe.

It may just have been that bride's particular style of fish tail.

I've been engaged since Xmas 2005 so it's been a looong time coming hehe.

Yeah it probably was and mine isnt really that tight. Thats a long time coming - I got engaged in 2006 and had 2 kids since then so I'll have them as my flower girl and paige boy which will be nice. Need to lose the post baby bump though lol.

Aww you grils are too kind! Its amazing what proper make up and that bridal glow does for you lol. I got married at the Alpine Lodge in Crosshouse. We had to change venues with 7 weeks to go after getting treated terribly at the Fenwick Hotel. Was a nightmare but we pulled it off - just!

The Gailes is gorgeous for a wedding! You could always try the hair and beauty place in there too. I had quite a budget wedding but you would never have been able to tell, go the dress from Dream Brides sale which is def worth a look. Reduced from £1200 to £495. So nice to see local people on here, I love talking about weddings too even though mine is over lol,
What have you booked already? xxx

Hi girls, what a nightmare having to change venues that quickly!! I'm trying to do things quite cost effective to so I'm splashing out on the things that people will notice and saving on the things that people wont i.e. cars as we're getting ready and married at the Gailes so just getting a limo for my h2b and his family. I'm getting my table plan, namecards, favours and menus etc all made from a bespoke designer which will make the tables look fab. I'm hiring bay trees and filling them with sparkly butterflies which will be nice in the rooftop conservatory where we are getting married which is saving money on having lots of flowers and then the trees can be moved downstairs for night - they look really good. I've booked everything except my cake. I go back to work from maternity leave next month so wanted to get as much done as possible now so I can sit back and look forward to it. I got my dresses from Diane Honeyman but I went to Dream Brides and the lady was lovely. Couldnt decide between 2 so went to Diane Honeymans and saw the perfect dress in there. Cole's mum - I get married April 2011. Are you all organised?
