slight brown discharge at 6 weeks, anyone else?

Hi girls sorry if too much info here but have slight brown, probably even lighter than the end or beginning of a period, watery sometimes mucus discharge.Went to GP today who didn't seem concerned, i am just 6 weeks.Any advice would be helpful!It isn't a lot and only really there when i wipe myself or a slight bit in the loo when go for a wee!xx

I had this also, please don't worry as I got myself in a right state about it. Like you, my midwife did not seem concerned in the slightist. I am now 18 weeks. Hope this puts your mind at rest xxxx

I had it as well. I think you only need to worry if it is bright red blood which I had at 17 weeks but after a doctors check was told everything was ok.

Ok thanks girls that has really made me feel better.It seems to occur after straining for loo (sorry if tmi!!! have been slightly constipated!!)I feel like i am obsessed with going to the loo to check all is ok!!!!xx

its not just you, I check every time I go to the loo, have done since I found out I was expecting....see your doctor if you are straining to go, I did and they gave me some medication to help me go. Constipation is common in pregnancy

I had this too at 7 weeks, then I had a bit most days until about 9 weeks. I really panicked when I first saw it and ended up having an early scan where all was fine so it really put my mind at rest. The midwives at the Early Pregnancy Unit said only to worry if it was bright red blood. It also happened again at 13 weeks but again, all seemed fine. I'm 17 weeks now. So I can definitely understand you worrying as it doesn't seem right when you see blood there does it but I'm sure it's nothing....I was told it's just hormonal changes. But if you need reassurance, speak to your GP, I'm sure they're used to us pregnant ladies worrying!

bleeding in pregnancy is a lot more common than you think,brown spottin is old blood so could be just implantion,also if it dos turn red then also try and not panic,i had 2 fresh bleeds in my last pregnancy one at 7wks and anouther one at 13wks and passed clots and i went on to deliver a healthy boy/girl

Oh thank you so much girls i am feeling so much better.Eaten so much fruit and veg to help prevent straining.Not had anymore today.Not feeling very pregnant actually, quite annoying!xx

Hi bootmaker, i'm a week behind you in pregnancy so this info is very useful and from all the lovely ladies who have experienced it.

I haven't felt pregnant at all today either so did another test to put my mind at ease xx

Oh god MrsLK!!I wanted to do another one today and then thought don't be so ridiculous!!I haven't got my period or any cramping so i am obviously still pregnant!!you just want these 12 weeks over and done with though don't you?!!How are you feeling?x
