I've been looking at different songs, and have came across both these songs which I really love :\) I'm very close to my dad and he's always been there for me and supported me when my mum hasn't so always had a special bond :\)

Is it traditional to dance with dad? I'd not thought of it!!

hi huny we're having a father daughter dance. It was one of my wishes. Dad always calls me his angel so this coudn't be more fitting

I love the first song, it makes me sad, but i love it! id love to have a father daughter dance but i haven't seen my dad since i was 16 (9 years ago!) and he has no interest in me whatsoever so i doubt ill get to have one. if the words to the 1st song were mother instead of father, id be onto a winner! we aren't going to have any first dances etc, i want it as untraditional as possible so i don't get upset about being fatherless!

hi im going to have luther vandross dance with my father. i love it it always make my heart go when i hear it and my dad is my world
don't worry, this post didn't upset me, things like this just make determined that if i ever have a little girl, her daddy is gonna treat her like a princess whether he likes it or not! I love going to weddings and seeing dads and daughters dance together, it looks so sweet.

I had assumed my dad would just dance with me just at some point in the evening, however my dad actually asked if I would mind having a father daughter dance as he had heard a some and loved it so much! I heard the song and fell in love with it too - its the first one you posted "I loved her first, by Heatland"
