Is anyone else planning to have a few days off work on the run up to the wedding day to sort out the last few bits and bobs????
Im getting married on Sat 7th and I have booked the Wed Thurs Fri B4 and then the 2 weeks after the wedding. H2B isn't having any time off B4 so it'll be me running round like a headless chicken sorting stuff out lol.

I'm lucky that we're both off for the six weeks holidays. We're also getting married on the 7th, so have 3 weeks before the wedding to get any last bits done then enough time after to have a two week honeymoon

My parents are coming on Thursday 5th for our wedding rehearsal and to help with any last minute things (and to keep me calm!).

We're getting married on Fri 6th Aug and we've booked off the Mon, Tue, Wed & Thurs before to sort the last few bits out and have some time to relax! I think that if I did have to work I wouldn't end up doing much! xx

im off for the 6 weeks hols so am off a fortnight before the wedding (we are getting married on the 7th aswell). I will need to be in work as im moving classroom and building but i ve got things planned on the wed, thurs and fri. I think my other half is thinking of taking the fri off but hes not decided completely yet.

I'll also be on my 6 week summer holiday, but so far h2b hasn't organised to take any extra time off - he doesn't seem to think he needs to!!!!

I am getting married on the 7th too and have the Thurs and Fri off beforehand. I have already started working out what I need to get done on each of those days and where everyone needs to be and wow I will be busy!! I wish I could take the weds off too! But holidays are so restricted this year with taking off 3 weeks already for the wedding.

I get married on Saturday 1st May 2010 and have booked the Thurs and Fri before off to take table decorations up to hotel and pick suits up etc. H2B is currently working the day before - it's still too far away for him to think about. He goes to Berlin on Thursday for his stag weekend and I'm sure he's convinced it's the week after. Men eh?! I guess it's a healthy balance to our crazed months of madness...

I finish work on the tuesday before the wedding and then have 3 weeks off after, 2 weeks on honeymoon and then a week to sort things out when we get back x

hmm, it depends how my shifts work out.

I am a student nurse, and i will be on placement at the time. Its very likely that i will be working on the friday, get married on the saturday and back to work on the monday!

I'll be off from the 16th April until middle of October as I'm due to give birth at the end of April....plenty of time to get things organised....me thinks!!! Mind you with a screaming baby I probably wont have as much time as I think
