Can I wear blue shoes?

Hiya all

Ok I've got THE dress - MS Sonya, its in Diamond white (which I panicked about thinking it was actually white, but its not thank g*d). I've bought some shoes - from BHS ..and they are nice...but I am still torn about wether to get a pair of blue shoes...my BM is in blue, and I have blue 'flowers' (actually made from buttons). ..arrghh - def having a bridezilla moment - is it OK to wear cloloured shoes? The BHS ones are def not diamond white, more a cream/ivory colour...and I'm just not sure!! Opinions sought!! Thanks

Why would you think it's not ok to wear blue shoes, it's your wedding day do what your happiest with x

Grrr I know the feeling there... have told everyone I'm buying my dress on my own cos they sway me too much, it didn't go down well!! But you have to make sure it's right for you, not them. Good luck - and please can I see pics when you've chosen, need inspiration!! x

of course - no problem...have to say I am not a ahoe girl! Prob why I was so swayed the first time. Have emailed my sis (BM) and told her we need to look for blue ones now! She is gonna hate me by the time we actually get married....but s*d it...like you say it has to be right for me not thme! x

I'm having bridesmaids in blue too, and I can't believe I didn't consider blue shoes for me... and I am a shoegal.

And blue shoes would take care of the traditional 'something blue' in a slightly different way to usual, which is cool.

I was even trying on wedding dresses with big high red shoes on last week, and the lovely lady in the shop said they were such great shoes I could easily wear them as my wedding shoes, and even put me in a red wedding dress for fun to match them... but I was still thinking, 'must find white dress and white shoes...' what an idiot.

I have also been thinking about wearing blue shoes, I just love the idea. But having trouble finding some i like, the ones i have seen are far to high. Would love a pair with a little heel. ;\)

I couldn't find any I liked so have got cream and my CBM looked at me strange when I said that I wanted blue shoes as my somtehing blue.

I am however really really pleased with the shoes I have bought and can't wait to wear them.
