We can't decide! Should we have:
- a book for guests to write a message in
- a framed picture of us where people sign around the outside
- cards on the table for people to write messages which I will then stick into an album with a photo of them at our wedding

What has worked best for you?

My friend had both the frame and the guest book, as the frame is lovely, but messages can't be long. Guest book evening guests can write in too

Alot of people have the frame and the guest book, and as long as your budget allows then this would be fine.
If you were only to have one, then I would say the guest book as the messages can be longer and more personal.
But it is personal choice.

I plan to create cards in varying sizes that will be given to guests, some to write messages on, others for the children and more creative types to write a little ode or draw a picture.
I will put an usher and a BM in charge of handing them out and collecting them back. Then I am going to mount them and put them into a guest book myself after the wedding (I am a bit of a creative person who enjoys this sort of thing & and I would prefer my guest book to not be passed around, particularly in the evening when people have had a bit to drink etc).

We're going for one of the Fuji Instax guest books from www.instantforever.com - we really like the idea of having instant photos of all our guests and messages too?

We bought a frame from Ikea for £16.99 which we are going to use as a signing frame. I am toying with the idea of getting a guest book too but that will just get shoved in a drawer and pulled out from time to time wheras the frame can be seen every day.

We had a signing frame and it went down a storm. The picture is now up in the hallway and every time I walk past I smile at the names and messages on there. You do get longer messages in a book but how often will you look at it after the day? I love enjoying ours every day... Whatever you choose will be right for you though!

I think a guest book is much nicer and can be more personal with more space for you loved ones to write messages, I would go for this over the framed pic if there is a choice & I don't mind at all that it will get 'shoved' in a drawer - it makes it more of a treat each time you 're-discover' it when you do your spring cleaning!

I'm having the signing frame, as we wanted something we could see every day rather than being put away in a draw never to look at.

I had the frame for people to sign. We put our 'engagement photo' in the middle and once the professional photos come through we'll put one of the wedding photos in it. It looks great on our wall and makes us smile when we see it

We're going for one of the ceramic dishes that people can sign. I never know what to write in books and I know for a fact that our work friends will try and be crude! Think it will be nice to have something that will have a purpose after the wedding rather than a book which will get put away and probably not looked at very often.

We are going for the frame and the guest book, as the frame will be written on by day guests but the guest book can be written in by evening guests too and longer messages in there, whereas the frame are short ones
