help with times needed!!!

We are having the wedding at 2pm at the same hotel as the reception.

What time should he have the meal? 2:30 or 3:00?
What time should we invite our evening quests for if the first dance is going to be at 7:30pm?

Our ceremony is 2:30, takes about half an hour. Then we have an hour and a half for drinks and photos, so it depends on whether you are having pics or not? 2:30 would be very quick to sit down for a meal with a ceremony at 2pm, you would be straight out of the ceremony. Wouldn't you want to spend some time just relaxing and chatting to people? We are going in for speeches at 4:30pm, with the meal to be served at 5pm. That should finish about 7pm. If your dance is at 7:30 I would get evening guests in for 7pm.

How about

2pm - 2:30pm - ceremony
2:30pm - 3:30pm mingling and drinks, (photos if having them - see how long your photographer wants - ours is an hour and a half, but we have got quite high importance on pics)
3:30pm go in for speeches and meal (or start meal and end with speeches)
Meal end about 5:30pm

I am hoping for our day (all at same venue) to go something like this....
2pm Ceremony
2.45pm Arrival Drinks and Photographs
3.45pm Guests Seated then Speeches
4.15pm Start eating
6.15pm Finish meal

7pm Evening Reception starts
7.30pm Cutting of the Cake and First Dance

MEAL AT 5PM - SPEACHES AND CAKE CUTTING BEFORE MEAL.
EVENING GUESTS FROM 8 (AS WE ONLY GET THE BAND FOR 4 HRS)
