How are we all? Sorry I have been AWOL, I blame H2B for being home! I have been reading a few posts but not had chance to reply properly.

Lesley I hope you are ok after being in hospital? Big hugs.

How is the planning going for you all? We have been quite productive, had food tasting meal and chosen our menu, bought wedding rings, ordered suits, chosen bridesmaids dresses and decided on cakes and a few other bits and bobs! H2B is only here for another 3 weeks so going to get as much done in that time as possible. We are also in the middle of trying to buy a house, phew!

So update me ladies, what has been happening? What have I missed? Hope you are all ok!

Now then... what have you missed.... Lesley is having a shoe %&*$# moment, i've bought a dress, there are various shoe crises going on, erm..... people are making mad lists that terrify me, we're hashing out dances with our dad's... and my mum's being A.W.K.W.A.R.D.

i'm still looking for brown suits in the short style not Prince Edward and having no look at all!!

Can't decided on cakes, but have BM booked in for fittings in April.

Been doing lots of research!!

Hi Aimee lovely to see you back on and sounds like you have done loads since h2b has been home hunnii.

The op got cancelled babe was meant to be tomorrow, but didnt want to treat me a day patient so now awaiting for appoinment to be admitted instead due to hearts probs etc so observation before and after op!!

Like lizzie says I've go shoe %&*$# my cat returned home safe and sound and getting peoples opinions on songs for father & daughter dance :\) That's about it really babe!!

That's a shame h2b away again in 3 weeks when will he return hun? So we will have our Aimee back soon then

Wow Polar you've done so much!!!
I haven't done much in the last few weeks.... other than having major cake wobbles..... could be changing my mind... I mentioned this a couple of days ago to my parents and I had emails from 2 local cake companies today saying my parents had contacted them about doing our wedding cake!!!! Aarrrggghh!!! I know she's only trying to help... but my mum just cant let me sort anything!!!

Hope you're having fun with H2B... mine is home this weekend so looking forward to that... he's on a promotion course for the next 5 weeks... which means I just get weekends with him! xxx

Glad to have you back! Been wondering where you were but assumed you were enjoying H2B's company..!

My only news is that I'm down a bridesmaid now.. after lengthy discussions with my preggers BM, we decided that she won't be one.. Pretty gutted obviously but so many uncertainties and it's a lot of pressure.. She lives down south, wedding's up north so a lot of travelling and there's even a possibility she won't make it on the day. She's still going to be very involved in the wedding, she just won't wear a dress on the day..

Glad to hear you've had a productive time - I'm feeling more on top of things - another trip up to Carlisle for Easter with h2b so going to try to get even more jobs done!!

Chatterbox have you found the right suits yet? I love choc brown ones they look yummy (not in an edible way!) Have you decided on your cake yet? I can't make my mind up either and Mr Polar is not much help he just says he isn't bothered as long as it isn't fancy - what the hell does that mean!?!?!

Lesley sorry to hear about your op being cancelled! Hope you are ok babe. Saw your shoes they are bootiful! God knows how you walk in them! How is your cat now? Mr Polar will be back around 7th July for his stag do on 16th. I'm hoping the 3 months will fly with it being Easter and me hopefully being able to start moving things into our house!

No, I don't want to ask anyone else - wouldn't feel right and I think anyone I ask would feel like a consolation prize!! She's still going to be very involved though but the pressures off and she doesn't have to worry about fitting into a dress or even attending if she's not up to it.. will have to see!
