I was just thinking about this today! I'm thinking of sending them at the start of December (before Christmas cards start arriving through people's letter boxes!) with the aim of getting all RSVPs by the end of Jan (at the latest). I get married at the end of March... and I need to have final numbers to the venue 6 weeks before... so I think that will work ok! I'll be interested to see what everyone else plans to do though...

Hi,

I was also thinking early December time, to beat the Christmas rush! I'm sure Christmas will cause a bit of a delay in people RSVPing, so sending them that little bit earlier than I would otherwise. xx

Goodness! The 3 weddings I've been invited to in the last few years sent their invites out less than 2 months in advance, so I thought that 6-8 wks was the norm! Oh dear!
Was thinking of getting xmas out of the way first and sending them out around 5th-8th Jan, so they don't get forgotten about over xmas. That would give them 10 weeks.
Hmmmm....not sure now....

Mummy to Chloe (5), Tyge the German Shepherd Rottweiller cross (14), Zuki the green iguana (8), and soon to be wife of Nathan :)
