also bridesmaids got 3 adults dresses from bhs for £25 each, shoes 4 pairs for £10, kept a pair for myself lol,
stoles for only £1 each yes £1,
3 flower girls dresses bhs £12 each and shoes bhs £3.60 each........i love sales.
1 bride ridesmaids and 3 flower girls all for a whopping £279.30.

ive also done all my favours flowers and doing my balloons myself
think i'm having a "cheap" wedding but it will look expensive

oh also got 3 bmw's for hire all day for £50 each,
its not what you know its who you know lol.

so how is everyone else doing?

the big question is:-

do you really need to spend £1000's to make your day look expensive?

Wow you have done so well I am so impressed!!! I got my dress second hand for £350 (would have been £850 brand new) got a veil and tiara for £30 and my bridesmaid dresses were £40 each from BHS, got a flower girl dress second hand for £13 and the pageboy outfits secondhand for £33 for two, my shoes were £9 in primark so I got a spare pair of flats for £4 and my corset, thong and garter came to £8 in primark. My ring was expensive as it needed to be made to fit my engagment ring but we got it for £250 but H2B's only cost £5 from Argos (he just wanted a stainless steel simple band!) so it evened out! My friend is a florist so is doing the flowers at cost for us and my other friend is doing the photo's so is only costing us £15! Def don't need to spend a lot to make it a special day!

Wow you have done so well! What time of year to manage to get everything in the sales?

I got my dream dress as ex sample - down from £1260 to £499. Managed to get venue for 2010 prices even though it's not till 2011. Also my friend's hubby is filming wedding for us for nowt! That's as far as I've gotten so far.

Been on the hunt for bridesmaid's dresses and hadn't thought to try BHS till you mentioned it in your post - just been onto website and found exactly what we were after and in budget! Thanks!

omg lol you really are doing great.

my dress was £875, tiara £65, veil £135.

When i fell in love my dress i never looked at the price, i was just happy to find the perfect dress.

Does your venue price include food? If it does, that is really cheap. Feeding our guests is the most expensive thing for us.
