Any other Cyprus 2012 brides out there?

Although we haven't yet set the date, we are def getting married in Paphos in 2012!!

Are there any others out there like myself? Would be good to swap tips/info.

We got engaged a month ago and have decided on a May 2012 wedding in Cyprus.

We've found a website where you can get married on a yacht which looks amazing. Thats as far as we've got tho, it's knowing what to do next that we've got to now!!!!

How far have you got with the planning?? It's all a bit daunting I've found!!!

We have decided to get married in June 2012 in Paphos too. I'm actually very sad as have been reading all the other post for a little while and have already decided on ceremony at Yeroskipou town hall and hotel we'll stat at will prob be Louis Phaethon as very family friendly and have lots of family with kids likely to come!!

Not sad at all. I've already decided to get married at Peyia Town Hall and stay at the Kefalos beach village which is also family friendly (we have 3 daughters 8, 4 & 1!!)

Just need to start saving and then get it all booked.

Glad to finally see other 2012 brides on here. Feel v jealous of the girls getting married soon.

I have just started looking for wedding destinations. I have got as far as deciding I want to get married in july 2012 in cyprus. Its great to have people in the same position as me and help on making decisions.

I also have children so am looking for child freindly places.

There seems to be so many gorgeous places which makes it hard to decide where to choose as destination. What made you choose your destination ?? x x

I spent ages trawling this website looking at advice and pics from other Cyprus brides & b2b's. Also checked out the above link on cyprusn's post cos the photos on there are fab! I have also looked on various wedding planner's websites and have emailed some for ideas. They have been v helpful and thats without paying them a penny!

Honestly if you have a good look back thru the posts on the WA forum then there are some brill recommendations. Butterflyrobin also knows loads about Cyprus in particular Paphos so look out for her!

Mentally my wedding is organised, now just need to get it booked.... lol.

Yeah, thats what I have done - looking through the old posts and planners sites. I emailed a few planners yesterday too.

i would love to say i'm a 2012 bride but i'm not!! I'm planning for 2013. found the venue but thats as far as we can go at the moment as it's still 3 years away from now. We are going for St Elias Gardens in Protoras. Can't wait. booking it this week.....so excited and feel so sad for planning so early but gotta get saving......been engaged nearly a year now. good luck everyone with their planning xx

I've chosen to use cyprusweddingbelles for my planner as have been speaking to Anna there and she has been really helpful. Have given her my preffered date (25/06/2012) at geroskipou town hall and just waiting to hear whether this is avail.

Am sooo excited and once I know its booked, it will make it more real!

How are you all getting on with your planning? I'm thinking of sending my save the dates soon - I know its early but I want to give people as much time to save as poss cos I know some of them will need it.

I too really love the yacht weddings, Mrs Giles 2012 and I am too hoping for end may or early june 2012. Have you booked anything? The yacht packages are amazing and I have found so much out on this website about photographers, hair make up to, Just really cant wait two years.

We have decided to go with H2 Photography they look amazing and i am so excited : ) We have booked with Paphos Prestige Weddings and are looking at Eternity Hire for our groom outfits. We have our evening entertainment sorted - with a love band called Diversity - i will put all the contact info down below so u can have a look, its best to book early i have found the best suppliers book up fast.
