Subject: Bath Hen Night anyone??!
Hi ladies,
Just wondered if anyone lives or has been out in Bath? I really fancy Bath for my Hen night & any hints tip on things to do or see would be great.
So far I have seen a fire engine limo that I think would be fun (H2B is a fireman)! I would also like to do the cocktail making class but this seems to be quite expensive? Has anyone else done it??

I live in Bristol and had a hen night out in Bath last summer. It was a really good laugh - although we didn't do anything like a cocktail making class.
Would you be going there for the day or just a night as you could do the bath spa http://www.thermaebathspa.com/ in the day time, in their rooftop pool!

I have just been discussing Bath as a venue for my Hen Do! It sounds lovely. And I was told about this rooftop spa. Its amazing apparently! I am thinking of going to Longleat Zoo because I love things like that and then go into Bath for a meal and drinking.
Bristol_bride - where did you go drinking in particular and are there any good clubs?

I found this, if you're looking for a cocktail night!
http://www.loungecocktailbar.com/ Free hire of their cocktail bar and private dance floor.
We ended up in Greek place called Opa, its a club/bar and restaurant this is the website http://opabath.com/opa.html#Club, It also has a lovely terrace along the riverside!
We also went to Revolution http://www.revolution-bars.co.uk/bath and had food at Bar HaHa.
There is a few clubs I could recommend, but it depends what music you're looking for.
If its cheesy, you could try: Cadillacs, Ts or the Fez club.
Have been told by friends that the Bluerooms is good too, but a bit pricey. Hope that helps!

Have been to the thermae spa and loved it particularly the outside swimming pool with views over Bath!.
When I went to Opa for my friends hen night, we weren't wearing fancy dress, so I don't know I'm afraid! I can't remember if there was a dance floor but we were dancing in a space - but I was very drunk, trying to look at photos to see if it was an actual dance floor! lol
Last time I went to XL it was a mixed age range, I wouldn't say its classy or sophisticated, but it is cheesy and a laugh with mates with reasonably priced drinks! Its not a small place either. Hope that helps!

Hi KittenHeels, we have booked the 17th July. My BM found the Travel Lodge and found it was really reasonable. I would book it asap as there were no more family rooms left our weekend if you want to keep the costs down and bunk in together in triple rooms. It is an old building so not a modern looking travel lodge. Its the Central one. I have never been to it though so cant let you know what its like to stay in I am afraid. It is by the river and near all the bars and restaurants apparently. Go for it!
