Kuredu 25th of July for 10 days anyone else?!!

Hi ladies i was just wondering if i have any honeymoon buddies out there as well as wedding buddies?! We set of on the 24th but because of time difference we will arrive on the 25th i cant wait it is one of the only things of the wedding planning that hasnt been so stressful!!!!!!! We are also going to Dubai for three days!!!

OMG we nearly booked this - but decided on Tunisia for 2 weeks. we fly on 25th too - cant wait..xx

Spooky we were looking at Tunisia as well but decided on Kuredu as Cal is from South Africa so wanted something totally different. Normally go on holiday in May so am really starting to notice the lack of holiday this year!!!

me too - last year i went to mexico in march and then to egypt in july i need 2 holidays a year to keep me sane!! i'm hoping to go to dubai towards the end of the year. i worked there foe 4 months so my old boss has said if she isnt there over xmas we can have her place!! despserate to go back but h2b didnt want to go there for honeymoon as i lived there with my ex - understandly!! lol

That would be brilliant if you can go to Dubai I am so jelous you get two we only get one a few long weekends in England!!!!
Can you reccomend any where to go in Dubai were not wanting anything to strenuous (sp?) though lol

Hotel wise? There are so many nice ones- my mum just stayed at Le Royal Meridian and loved it - she said service was second to none and it was beautiful!! If i go i'd stay there. I dont think it costs an arm and leg though.

We're going to the Maldives but not the same island and we fly out on 25th July 2010. We're also going to Dubai for 3 nights on our way home too. x

Future Mrs Bell which Island are you staying at?! Im really looking forward to both places and am really glad we decided to go for the 3 nights as it wont be as long going home

The main attractions are the building, waterparks, malls, beaches etc. If you get chance -go to Fujairah for the day. It is a neighboring State but beautiful and mainly unspoilt. you can pay £200 dirhams to use to beach clubs at most hotels for the day. But as your only there for 3 days - i would say - go to the Atlantis on the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Mall and hmm you could look at the desert off roading trips too - which i wanted to do but never got around to. If you are there over a Thursday night/ Friday day - BRUNCH is a must. Their weekend is Friday/ Sat so every Friday many hotels have brunches from 11am/ 12pm to about 4pm. You pay a set amount and unlimited food/ drink all day.
The Meridian or Marriot at the airport do one on a Thursday night followed by a disco. It is really good fun!! You pay about £40 each for unlimited food, Laurent Perrier champagene (you have a sip and someone is there to fill it again) and you can order unlimited food from a la carte or buffet (no UK style buffet - gorgeous food)

We're staying at Meedhupparu. I'm so looking forward to it. Only 4 months today till we get married and 4 months tomorrow till we fly off on honeymoon. x

Oh forgot the say - go to Karama in Dubai - its where you get all the designer stuff x

They've changed my flight!! its not so perfect anymore!! we now have to fly at 7.30am the day after the wedding!

Thomson have been really bad - not offered us anything other than a full refund (which we'd get anyway)- knowing we've had to change loads of stuff about the wedding!!

Looks like i wont be drinking too much - either that or stay away as we are leaving at 4.30am for the airport

Yeah we're going to Kuredu but we fly out the 2nd August, so you will still be there when we arrive! We are staying for 15 days- 7 in a beach bungalow and 8 days in a water villa! I'm so excited the island looks like paradise. We have both just bought snorkels and flippers so we can snorkelling whenever we like!! Have you been on the website? my other half is constantly on there finding out what to take etc!! Not long to go wohoo!
