Hi girls,
Just to let you know that Monsoon have a coral/orange theme running through their current Eveningwear collection-really pretty dresses ranging from tea-length chiffon beauties to full on glamorous maxis...definitely worth a look!
Oooh and also, Faith have the most STUNNING pair od coral suede platform courts, perefect for that kick of colour as you're walking up the aisle! Or in my case, in full view with my calf-length dress! 84 days til I can wear it....Eeeeek!

I have chosen this colour and am realy struggling to find bridesmaid dresses. I have just found a gorgeous dress on a website and they do it orange, but what if it is a horrible orange!!!

http://www.lightinthebox.com/A-line-V-neck-Knee-length-Elastic-Woven-Satin-Chiffon-Bridesmaid--Wedding-Party-Dress--HSX155-_p22563.html

Also, I have to find dresses that will be flattering for my bridesmaids especially as one of them will either be heavily pregnant or just had a baby at my wedding. Any advice??

xx

ooo the monsoon dresses are lovely! I really like this one, it says it's red but looks more coral to me? Or is it just my monitor?

There's also a lovely silk coral dress on there reduced to £42!! Sadly my BMs don't like silk and prefer something more 'floaty' like the dress above, which would probably work best for your pregnant BM too as silk tends to cling to every lump and bump!!

I'm orange! Debenhams have loads of lovely coral and orange dresses in their 2010 stock - they're all on this link

Mrs LJC2b - I love that dress too and also think it looks orange. Am currently waiting to hear back from my BMs about it.

My other option is black dresses and orange shoes (my sister is very glamorous and can carry off slightly different looks) so I might check those Faith shoes out.

Love this thread.

I have choosen an Autumunal theme, so the men are wearing burnt orange cravets and burnt orange swirl waist coats from Cameron Ross, and handkerchef, and my flower are orangers, and burt browns etc, but I went BM dress shopping today, and found that burnt orange, browns, golds and ivoy just does not suit my sister!!! Only dark blues, reds, purples do,so im panicing now as to what to do!

We tried on a lovely chianti coloured dress, but the lady in the shop said it would not go with burnt orange, and the colour of her wrist corsage, so really am stuck!

I think that would go personally if you mix in the colours in the bouquet perhaps? Have you tried them alongside each other to see?

Yes, we held the waist coat and tie up aginst the dress, and I thought that they were the colour of autumn leaves, but thelady said it was a total clash. I might take the men back to the shop to try the suits on along side my sister. Only other colour we could think of was black, and then have her with the orange flowers.

Nell, i had the same problem...would have loved burnt orange but my BMs are pale and said it didn't suit them. They were also doubtful that it'd go with my other colour - teal, although since I've showed people moodboards of the colours they've changed their minds! We comprimised on coral though, which goes with teal better anyway!

In case people missed it, here are some links to dresses I've found, pasted from the other thread :\):

I really wanted the below dress but one BM didn't like:

My girls loved this one but turned out to be a bit too orangey.. they are reduced to £50 in store though

These are nice:

I've just found this style and love it, it's a bit different. I have a 20% off code for this site too:

...and these are the dresses I'm ordering, just as soon as BMs get back to me with sizes (I would post a picture on this thread but it comes up really big)!
