I am getting married in April 2011, but I am keen to get everything organised soonish. Can anyone reccommend any reasonably priced hair/makeup artists in the Essex area?

Snap Shopaholic25 - I'm an Essex and April 2011 bride, and no idea where to start with this either! Was probably going to get my usual hairdresser to have a go at hair, and had resigned to doing own make-up, but it would be nice to know if there's any affordable make-up artists out there.

I have friends down in Essex and when a lady I know got married last year she used Kelly Hollands and she was delighted with her and the results were beautiful!

I am having a trial with silloette du barry in chelmsford for hair and they have a make up lady called blu this weekend will let you know how it goes.
I will dig out the leaflets I picked up at the brentwood wedding fair tomorrow and post their details tomorrow.

I second Kelly Hollands - she is doing mine and she is fab! She is mobile and will come to wherever you need her. She also works with John Coronado hairdressers on Canvey Island now to offer a combined hair and make up package, not sure of the details of this as she I've only booked for make up, but worth an ask
