MAJOR DRESS WOBBLES :(

I just ordered my dress last week and i only have 90 days till the big day, i searched and searched for months and coulodnt find anything i liked, the woman in my local bridal shop was soooo helpful and ordered in some dresses she thought i would like and in the end i ordered one, but looking back i think i ordered it in desperation as the clock was ticking.
Now i have found the dress of my dreams on here and feel soooo depressed. Im stcuk wiv a dress that i think is just OK

Have you tried on your dream dress? The one I loved on paper was horrid on me and I ended up going for something totally different. Try it on, you might find that the one you have ordered trumps it.

which dress have you picked and which dress have you found on here?! might help us to comment - sorry you are feeling depressed!!! You must of really liked the dress on the day to order it - maybe you need to go back and try it on again to remind you of how great it felt?!

I agree if you haven't tried the dream dress on who is to say it would be your dream dress when you got it on.
How long ago did you order your dress could the shop change it for you have you asked????

Ordered it last friday but not sure if it can be stopped as they hav been told im on a tight time limit

Oh honey I prefer the first one! They both have beautiful skirts, it's just the tops that are different- perhaps you could get some amazing more detailed jewellery to set the connie dress off? Please don't be sad, I'm sure you will look wonderful and feel like a princess x x x

It is a nice dress i just wish i had seen the other dress b4 i ordered this one cos i love the bodice more on the JA dress

The bodice on the JA dress is lace and you really need to see the dress up against your skin to se if it would have the desired effect. I know I loved lace but lace doesn't love me.

Although neither of these dresses are in a style I would choose I think both of them are classic and very elegant. Your dresses probably also has a glamourous feel. I honestly think your dress is lovely and you will be happy when you try it on.

I have just ordered a JA dress and expect it in June. I know the user who has ordered this JA dress said she isn't expecting it till summer. I think the clock was starting to run out a little. I am not sure that you could have ordered this even if you had found it and as my grandmother says - whats for you won't go past you. I don't think the other dress was for you.

I think the one you have gone for is amazing. I really prefer it to the other one! Genuinely! You will look amazing! The other is nice but it doesn't have the wow factor!

Foxy, I totally understand how you feel but I honestly think the dress you have ordered is just totally stunning!!! They are similar dresses, the bodice is different on both yes, but I think the RJ one is so pretty. I do like the JA one, but truthfully, as a pp has said, whilst lace in a picture is beautiful it really may not be the same on. I searched high and love for a dress which had a lot of lace on it and when I eventually sourced it the lace didn't go with me at all. I have quite a pale complexion and the lace (being white) didn't do me any favours at all.

I truthfully think you may change your mind when the dress comes in, but only you know how you really feel.

The thing about the JA dress that you cant see in the pics is that is mega sparkly, the pics dont do it justice TBH. I nearly bought Connie, in the end the JA won it for me due to the sparkle....Connie is beautiful, you will look spectactular on the day! xx

I get married in August & ordered my dress in November. I did feel a little pressured by the lady in the shop, but also they offered me £100 off is i ordered that day!!!
The sample dress I tried on was ivory & I wanted white. I did take some pictures of me in the dress and each time I looked at them, I had major wobbles and at one point looked at finances to see if there was anyway I could save up for another dress!!!
When the dress arrived and I went back to try 'my actual' dress on, I fell in love with it all over again and now wouldnt dream of wearing any other dress!
I understand how you feel, so why dont you go back to the shop and try the dress on again - it is a beautiful dress and I'm sure you will look amazing in it.

both dresses are GORGEOUS and very very similar... can you afford to get the JA dress and sell the RJ one? Would there be enough time for it to be ordered/made for you? what are your options? if you can't have the JA dress then don't worry about it, the dress you have is absolutely stunning and so very similar to the JA one xxx
