Subject: Kicking it up a gear now!!!

Hello ladies

After all that hassle over my dress it's finally in the shop and working it's way over to me tommorrow!!!

I really wanted to weigh 10stone by the time it arrived so I'm 18pounds off (and my dress is early! by a month)

So I need to step it up a gear! what exercises do you do? do you think 18pounds in a month is possible? (a month because I'm going on a mini holiday to Mallorca for FMIL'S 60th birthday and I wanted to look very different to the last time they saw me (this weekend lol) so I wanted to bypass my 3rd mini target and got straight to mini target 4 (if that makes sence?)

I know my eating plan will help me lose about 3lbs a week but I need to burn off another 2lbs per week with exercise and willing to try anything!

Thanks in advance!

Hiya, I want to be 10 stone in 117 days for my wedding. I think one month for your goal is a lot of pressure! (I have 22lbs to go).

So far I have been dropping an average of 7lbs a month. So 18lbs seems an awful lot to me! Your current 3lbs a week is excellent and a healthy range, don't put too much pressure on yourself! you are doing brilliantly as you are.

You need to have a deficit of 3500 calories per pound lost. So basically you would need to be cutting out/burning off 14,000 calories per week to loose 4lbs and that is A LOT!

Good luck to you, sounds like you're doing great. Just be sensible and healthy about it or it might go straight back on when you return to normal. Have a lovely mini holiday! x

If you can... lots of running, and weight training. You'd also need to cut out some starchy foods like bread and pasta.

I lost 14lbs in a month but I was REALLY cutting back. no alcohol, just fish and steamed veg. zero sugar and lots of exercise but this isn't something you should do for longer than a month!

I'm now averaging 4-8 pounds a month with a more relaxed version of the above.

Good luck!!

Thank you ladies I'm gonna keep a note on how I go on here I need some big weekly weight losses but I know I can do it!
Dont think I will be cutting back too much as I dont really drink and I dont eat sugar

I have devised a workout plan tell me if i'm too far off

everyday- 1 and a half hours of cardio
every other day- 40mins toning dvd + the cadio

Green smoothies for brakfast and lunch (very filling and very good for you) then vegetables and either tofu, steamed chicken or fish?

Thanks again x x

Totally with you sweetie - I have 75 days to go and the last 20lbs to loose - it doesn't seem like a lot compared to others but I just want to get to my target weight hopefully well before the wedding - my lovely dress will not be forgiving if I don't loose it so that's motivating me.
I am drinking loads of green tea and living on steamed fish and chicken and veg and visiting the gym 4 times a week plys walking about 3-4 miles a day. I would include more weights in your workout rather than just cardio - you will burn off more calories with weights - and you won't end up with scary muscle arms!!! I don't know if 18lbs in a month is achievable but you will easily loose a stone in that time
good luck and keep me updated on your progress - I might need a bit of help myself!!

wow ladies your giving me inspiration.

I have overally about 8 stone to loose but goal is another 3 by the wedding in 7 months time.

I am going to give steamed fish and veg a go for a fortnight and see if it boosts my weight loss. I have been really struggling since November but i need to crank it up.

Does green tea really help?

Did my hour cardio this morning and having my yummy green smoothie
I think I burnt around 470cals on the bike this morning
Doing another hour later 30min run then 30mins on the bike

I really hope I can keep this up I cant wait to see results!

Having roast butternut squash and gnocchi today for lunch then another green smoothie for dinner (having a juice for dinner helps me sleep as it's nice and light on the stomach)

xx

Morning!! decided to go on a juice plan for 20days been having 2 juices a day anyway so another one wont make a difference plus I wont have the detox symptoms so that will make it easier. To keep costs down I'm going to rotate between juices every week it should cost about £20 per week

So this is day one of full juice- if I stick to my workouts I should lose about a pound a day (water and fat) really optimistic and excited and if you dont mind I will keep you posted on weight losses and progress on here? x x x
