Help Needed... Table Plan Frame Size?

Hiya,

I'm planning on making my own table plan, I want to order a frame to hold the Plan inside but i'm slightly confused on how big i need the frame to be. We have 9 tables to fit on the plan, my H2b thinks we need a frame at least 20"x30" but i think thats too big?

Any help would be great.

Our frame was supplied by the hotel, but we had to have 15" x 25" to fill and had 8 plus top table. I think you'll find that whilst it sounds big, its actually not as big as you think. Ours was a good size, so I think y ou will be fine going with that

sorry to gatecrash this post, but we also have 9 tables and a top table and I'm just starting to think about sizes and stuff. Have you mounted yours? Did you manage to find a pre-cut mount or did you do it yourself? If so, I would really appreciate any tips!

Hi ladies..you might be best to do the plan then get the frame...we did A2 i think, didn't do a frame just strong card in black......with the numbers the standard size is W10.5cm x H14.8cm, I did mine on computer and printed then card and laminated them.....

With the table plan i did it on computer to using size 16/18 fancy font, person at the top is 12:00 they will have their back to you, kids are good to put here, then as you go down it goes round the %&*$# the name follows, if that makes sense???? I did them on cream paper then as we had a halloween theme did yellow then red card....we then lift mounted them so they looked 3D....

Invest in a gilateen(spelling!!) this will give you a good straight edge, staples do one for £10.....

I'm going for an A1 size to house my table plan which will show 14 tables plus top tables.
