Subject: Wedding dress or bridesmaid dress???
Hello ladys.

I am really not sure if to have a wedding dress, or a adult bridesmaids dress in ivory. It will be my 3rd wedding, and i will be 49. Have seen some beautiful bridesmaids dresses, and as i dont want a big train, some look ideal.

Has anyone else got a bridesmaids dress instead of a wedding dress?? Any pics if possible.

This is the only thing i am fussing about.

Thanks ladys.xx

Hi there, have you looked at the wedding dresses in Monsoon? I am having a Monsoon dress for my wedding this Saturday and I love it. Its an older style called Johanna so not available in the stores now but there are plenty of lovely ones there. They also have some gorgeous shrugs and their shoes are wonderful too x

A friend of mine had a bridesmaid dress as her wedding dress and it was lovely, it really depends on what you fall in love with I think. I'm having a full wedding dress with train because it's my first (and only!) wedding and I want to look like a princess, it's a personal choice so go with what feels right for you xx

Mine is a bridesmaids dress, but it is perfect for me - and it is in claret. I love it.

I have been looking at the foreveryours web, and they have some nice simple wedding dresses, and a couple of bridesmaids dresses i like, what i could have in ivory. Will have to see if anywhere in Derby has them in.

bladette, i love the sound of a claret dress, lovely rich colour. I havent thought of having any other colour than ivory. Mmmmmm its given me something to think about.

I tried it on in claret, and ordered it in ivory, because thats what second brides have isn't it? Well that's what I thought. Over the weekend I had a major wobble, thought I am not going to like it when it comes - so went back and tried it again - and changed the order to claret!! I only have 3 weeks to go, so will share pics soon!!

My wedding photographer got married in a dark blue/navy dress with a dark blue headpiece/hat - it looked lovely!!

Saja have lovely dresses online - they do some of their wedding dresses in colour either as coloured wedding dresses or as bridesmaid dresses. They don't stock over here in the UK but it was great for inspiration!
