Two weeks ago i had what i thought was a tummy ache. It got worse and worse and i went to the doctors. Turned out I had appendicitus! Had an emergency operation to have it removed and now have a hefty scar and some serious healing to do.

However, my main bug bear was that I have been told to leave it at least a year till I have babies as it can damage your scar tissue and cause a stomach muscle problem. I was hoping this was not the case as we are trying to start our family.

Has anyone else had this and can give some advice?
