I'd really like to wear a long-sleeved wedding dress. I know there are lots of places offering little shrugs, capelets and organza jackets but I can't find a genuine long-sleeved dress. Has anyone seen any? I think the only option may be to have a dress specially made but that sounds very expensive! Has anyone else had to have the dress of thier dreams specially made? Was it expensive/ a hassle? Thanks.
I'm having the same problem!! While I have found a few long-sleeved dresses, a lot of them just look a bit more old-fashioned than I'd like. Cymbeline have some nice ones with lace sleeves, try their website (and I'll try and get back to you with some of the others I've found!).
www.sanpatrick.com has some amazing dresses Durban is a beautiful grace kelly style dress, Dunia, Dama has three quarter length sleeves and is stunning,as is dilan, also cadiz and cafatel are worth a look to there are others as well also you could also try pronovias they have a few, astro, avignon has three quarter sleeves, as does abanico, jardin and illusion are a few styles. there are other places as well the european design houses seem to do more with sleeves than the english so worth looking at some of theirs.
If you dont find a long sleeved dress look at lucymarshall.com. They do hand embroidered and beaded fingerless gloves which are made to match your dress.
