H2B says he's coming with me for the next menu tasting which is scheduled for Jan the 13th!! He's like you he will say it like it is, I hope he doesn't frighten the chef and coordinator , he can come across as very rude sometimes...I'm so shy and timid, I usually go red(no kidding) when he says his remarks!!

But ladies still looking for recipes to send through to them, if you have any today I would be so pleased cause I have this wedding meeting this weekend, My Mum and her best friend mean business!!

LOL jess why not go for a chickemn dish and mediteranean vegetables and maybe rice with it think that would be nice, careful with the mushroom sauce though because if the chef aint great it can be too creamy and a bit sickly. also dont do chicken and cheese lol, not a good combo, (in my humble opinion ) lol

Ooh I know I'm scared about the mushroom sauce. Do you think wild rice would be better than the roast potato. Maybe I should ask them do a coq a vin instead.

well the thing is you can get the to put chunks of potato in the roasted med veggies.....and have wild rice on the side, with the chicken.........maybe you could find a sauce that would compliment it better, perhaps tomato and basil or something similar........what do you think?

Yep I like that idea better!! Simple but will fill my guests.
With our office christmas menu we got breast of chicken with shallot and red wine sauce, if I like the taste of that I will recommend it for the wedding. But the Mothers I know will be gettign their recipe books out this weekend, cause my Mum was saying she had found a recipe for pan fried chicken which was simple and really nice!!

I need a very light & refreshing dessert cos I don't want any stodgy food to put people off the idea of the choc fountain!

Hi Jess

I must apologise, I've been looking for a chicken recipe for ages now but had no luck with the one i was thinking of (i.e. the one I thought it would be impossible to get wrong).

I'll keep looking, I haven't forgotten you though.
