Subject: HAVE YOUR SAY ABOUT THE WEBSITE!
Hi everyone
In the new year we'll be looking at how we can make the site even better and even more user-friendly, and we want your ideas and feedback in order to do it - it's your site, so you need to have your say!
Please post here and tell us:
What you like about the site at the moment - what's easy to use, what looks good, what your favourite sections/features are
What you don't like - what's hard to find or difficult to read, what do you want to see more (or less!) of?
What do you think about the design of the pages and the colours used?
Any general suggestions about how we could improve the site?
Thanks for your feedback, I'll be reading it all, I promise!

Well........
This is just my opinion and personally I don't think the site is that bad!! However, I don't like it how you see peoples' comments on some of the pages that you click on bugs the hell out of me and makes it look as though there is too much stuff on the page.
Too much stuff is emphasised on companies in England, need a variety of areas.
I think the colour scheme is ok a bit white maybe.

Hi Angel
Thanks for getting us started! Do you mean the latest member chat on the different sections (eg the homepage, main fashion page, main honeymoons page etc)?
With the shopping site, I'm afraid to ensure that you can order securely and your details will be protected, you have to be taken outside of this site to a specifically designed secure site to buy any of the products.

i think the site is great and personally i use the chatroom more than anythign else as i find that the rest of the advice is quite limited obviously you can't cover everywhere and everyone so no problem there.
the problem i haeve with chat room is that when i first started from the chatroom home page you used to be able to view latest member chats on a link (with unanswered topics and 'your topics') you don't seem to be able to now, i wish i was able to see what posts have been made sinc ei was last on- it takes me hours to look through each section (planning, recpetions etc) to see what has been chatted about since i was last on, often theres alot.
i also would like to see a way of viewing th e topics i have put a post/reply too, without recieving endless emails. for example if i reply to someone elses thread the only way to view the rest of the replies thereafter is by subscribing to it and then recieving emails to tell me- as a result i get a mail box full of 'topic subscription notices'.
just my opinion and have no suggestions to help, love the site though....

yeap Helen
i think the colours are too white too on this page. i like pastel but i think it doesnt draw as much attention as i wanted sometimes when i visit this site.
content wise i'm not so sure apart from the chat section, which i think is really good and rather comprehensive. considering that we not only chat about our weddings but everything under the sun.
anyway, back to the content, eg under receptions, it seems like it's always the same articles at first glance until maybe after i click into a heading. due to that, i seldom bother entering into any of the tap (sorry not sure what they are call, those headings on top with the little flap???) maybe it is because the contents are too limited?
and also, under chat section (like em4 mentioned). do you think it is possible to know what we have subscribed without the need to open up all the emails?
for eg, we will get a 'topic' in our email inbox telling us we have subscribed to this 'topic' and if there are 10 new replies, i would have read them all in one go before i even go back to my email inbox to see that i've got another notice of the same topic subscription.
therefore, if i get 10 messages from YYW in my inbox on the same topic, i would be able to delete them all without even opening all of them to know that it's from the same topic.
sorry, abit nagging on my explanation. hope you understand what i meant.
but otherwise, i feel at home using the chat section as i know most of the nicknames (brides) and know 'who i'm dealing with'.
last but not least, thank you for the upgrading of this site!!! hope to see some bright colours in here soon.... ;\)

Yeah bright would be good!!
I meant to ask do others find the site a bit slow in loading?? i.e. when you type address in and then when you are looking at chat pages. I have broadband and all other sites open quickly but this one seems to take longer. Maybe its just me??

Sorry, thought of something else. Why when you quick reply does it want you to confirm it but not on the post reply?? In a quick reply you write less so you don't really need to look over it. It seems as though its not really needed.

When will Real Bride Reviews be up and running? The tab's been there for ages! I agree that I mainly use the site for web-chat but also like real Life weddings. I think the fashion section could have a lot more information on it - especially where to buy accessories eg bridal fascinators, including web-based suppliers. I only had a brief look at wedding vows but it did seem quite helpful though I'm not quite there yet!

i think it's the website itself that is slow, not your side. coz we are using bb as well and it is really slow these days. maybe it's the upgrading on this site in progress so when we access it, it is slow no matter what kind of internet band we use.
that's my theory thou, not sure whether is that right. but i've been wondering about it as well for a while....

do you think it's possible for the chat section to be accessed by members only? i've realized that even thou readers cannot reply, but if it's members only, then 'secrets' will be kept within the circles.

Just a small thing:
When you do a search for a term, could the entries come up in a particular order e.g. the date on which they were posted? At the moment, they seem to appear in a haphazard list.
