Well girls. Where to start???
Im not going to do a huge written report and bore you all silly so I will start with the run up to the big day.

We got engaged on Halloween night in 2008 and we set the date in Jan 2009. We went up to look at the venue, Haigh Hall, and we fell in love with it. Stunning building with even more stunning views so the date was set for August 7th 2010 which sounded a lifetime away but oh how wrong I was, it came round so quickly.
OUR VENUE.......[http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv194/niteen37/th_haigh-3669.jpg?t=1281390724]

I, as most brides do took over most of the organising of the day and OH chipped in when he had suggestions, but he was happy for me to run with the ideas. Our colour scheme was gold and ivory and we planned everything around that. The ball started rolling with all the details and before long and after a lot of web questions on here, we soon had all the planning done and we were ready to start putting all the details in to place and before we knew it, final invoices were arriving in the post and all balances were having to be paid. It was so exciting to know that all our plans and ideas would soon be realised in the our wedding day, the day we had dreamed of for over a year.

THE WEEK B4 THE BIG DAY.........I had been really ill with a terrible cold the weekend B4 and the best man had cojme down with chicken pox so we were all a bit of a sad sorry bunch. I was worrying that our 22 month old would catch them and be ill for the big day but luckily that didnt happen
My streaming cold was getting worse and the week B4 the wedding I was due to work the Mon and Tues then I was off the rest of the week then 2 weeks after, but I was sent home from work on the Monday as I was so ill and I could hardly speak as my throat was so sore. A terrible start to the start of a busy week I thought
The week B4 was a mixture of running around picking up last minute things. sorting out details, and taking Lempsip Max Flu Plus, and as the days went by I started to feel better thank god .........

By wednesday, my voice still sounded ridiculous but there was so much still to do that i carried onh regardless and just hoped that it would be better still by the weekend.
I had been checking the weather all that week and the reports were constantly changing form day to day so i decided to give up and what would be would be, the weather was some thing I couldnt do anything about so i wasnt gonna stress about it!!!!

Morning girls, here goes again.........

So, Wednesday was spent cleaning the house from top to bottom. Thursday was spent picking up table plan, place cards, table names, mirror plates and card box, and just sprting out last little details for the big day that was coming around so quickly. My Mum and Dad had asked could they take us out for a meal on Thursday evening so we had to spend ages getting everything together to take up to the venue on the Friday morning on Thursday afternoon because with us going out for a meal, we wouldn't have had the time to do it if we only got in late.
THE DAY BEFORE.............. This day is when the excitement really kicked in. We went up to the venue first thing to drop everything off and the chair cover company had already been and set up the room for the ceremony. It looked stunning. Lisa, our wedding co-ordinator went through the whole run of the day again to check we hadn't forgotten anything. Once all that was sorted we went straight back home and after picking our little boy up from nursery, my daughter and I went to pick up bridesmaids dresses and my dress, then my 12 year old son went for his hair cut and me and my daughter had showers. It was hard to keep my dress under wraps from H2B, but it was hung up under a single duvet cover. I was told as soon as he left to go to his mums, to take the cover off.
Hair and make up lady was due to come at 5pm and my best friend who had been helping us all day had decided to have her nails done aswell. Erica (hair and beauty lady) arrived and got started on the girls nails whilst I got our baby settled in bed. [http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv194/niteen37/DSCF0001.jpg?t=1281429527]

My daughter and my best friend.

MIL2B and CBM and flower girl all arrived at 7pm and we all started to get a bit giddy. Erica continued to pamper us all right up until gone 9pm.

My son and our flowergirl.

When the time came for H2B to leave, I got really emotional and as we stood on the doorstep chatting and hugging, after lots of tears he finally left saying he loved me and he would see me tomorrow.
We were all still having nails/beauty done and MIL2B said she would get home to check on what all the boys were doing. Little did she know that after H2B had sat in the conservatory finishing off his speech, his dad, brother and brother in law decided to handcuff him to a huge blow up doll and I couldn't help but laugh when the pictures came through on my phone showing me exactly what they were all up to
Erica left and we decided to have a glass of wine and put on a DVD. My best friend Andrea then said she would have to get home so I walked her to the front gate when her boyfriends car pulled up outside. There were lots of tears as she was leaving, but happy tears

I got a text from MIL2B saying that H2B had opened his gifts from me and he LOVED them so I was decided that I would open mine. I opened my card first then my 2 presents which were a beautiful necklace in a trinket box, and a beautiful willow tree 'TOGETHER' figurine.

I only found out after that the girls were blubbing at this point lol.
The night went really quick and at midnight it was decided that we would all go to bed. After settling all the kids down, myself and Susan my CBM, got into bed and after staring at my dress for a while and having a short chat we quickly drifted off to sleep.

THE MORNING OF THE BIG DAY....... I woke at 6am and without even opening the blinds, had an idea that it would be dull and miserable outside. CBM woke and said 'lift the blind, I bet its not as bad as you think' I did and she was right. It was a bit dull, but dry.
We went downstairs and the kids quickly followed.
Erica was only coming with her team at 11am so we could all chill for a while and have a cup of tea and some breakfast. At this point I was very calm and not nervous at all, so after giving my baby his breakfast we all sat and chilled for a bit.
