I've been going to slimming world but with little success. I know it works but we've moved house and had to spend a lot of time working on it so we can live there. I just need to get my head back in it to lose the three stone so I'm so desperate to shed.

Only 306 days to go!!

I want to lose 3 stone too in 288 days so about the same as you. What are your diet plans?I am going to join weightwatchers as there is a meeting point really close to my house so I guess I will be more likey to keep going.Theres also a gymn nearby which I am going to look into tomorrow, always tomorrow.
The weightwatchers 10% at a time goal looks achievable, what do you think.I think I could handle it in chunks like that rather than thinking 3 stones!!!OMG!
Just noticed the posting date:lol:.Well did you lose that weight petitebride?

Hi ladies...our weight is always a burden isnt it! ggrrrr! I havent joined a club of anysort and made some simple changed to my diet...

Breakfast I have shredded wheat with skimmed milk and a handfull of raisins or blueberries on, break at work a piece of fruit, lunch a cuppa soup and a carrot/undressed salad and my tea I have what I like so long as its a smaller portion, includes veg and grill/oven cook instead of fry where I can.

In addition to this Ive done 10 minutes of excercise each day on my trampette and lady weights and just taking stairs instead of lifts....and it really does work, I weigh 12 stone and lost 9lb in two weeks!

I know everyones different and I dont want to upset people but it really is common sense..write down what you eat as it suprised me when I compared what I ate before the diet compared to now plus all the extra fruit and carrots etc has made my nails grow so strong and my skin is wonderfully smooth and glowing instead of spotty!

My failure point before was snacking..inbetween meals, crips etc so cut them out and give it a go..pin a piccie of your "fattest" photo and put it on the fridge/inside cupboards to put you off, ask yourself, am I really hungry enough to eat?swap to lower fat alternatives and get a pic of your dream dress out....the key is inspiration, positivity and motivation..

I have faith in you all, come on ladies you can do it..once in a lifetime chance for your wedding so go go go and just imagine how good you will feel when you step on those scales, slip into those smaller jeans and see the look on your h2b face as you walk down that aisle xxx

Good luck to all, I know its not easy x

If yo can budget for it Id try a personal trainer ladies, I lost 1 stone 5lb alone by cutting out fatty foods, grilling not frying and calorie counting but still needed to shift weight and shape up.

My personal trainer started as an extravagance at £35 an hour but I cant believe I ddnt do it before! she comes to my house and we work out far more than Id do on my own and gives me diet plans and excercise routines..she texts and calls to keep me motivated inbetween visits and my confidence has really gone up!

My body shape is better, more toned and Ive lost inches rather than pounds...Id recommend it anyday even if just short term to kick start your motivation..it is hard, very hard shifting weight but this is your one chance to get that figure for your wedding girls, dont give up! lets support each other!
