Necklace to wear with my wedding dress

Hi

I have got the allan hannah martinique dress and am not sure what necklace to wear with it? Anyone got any ideas? I have a tiara and tomorrow i am going off to sort out the veil. I had bought one but at my fitting this morning they said it was the wrong colour! The one in the shop was beautiful but cost £200 and so i cant stretch that far what with everything else! The cost goes on and on! So, i am off with some samples from another wedding shop to go and
co-ordinate it with my dress tomorrow!
I am feeling a bit stressed only 23 days to and stil so much to do...

Plus i am worried how to handle my mum on the day...would it be rude to tell her i will see her in the church?! I think i will end up having an argument with her on the day if i have her with me in the morning!

Hi there. I'm having exactly the same dilemna! I too have chosen Alan Hannah's Martinique dress, but I'm getting it copied by my tailor for a fraction of the price (I live in the Middle East, so it's a bit tough to buy). I went to try it on tonight and I absolutely loved it! Anyway, I had some jewellery made which I think would go nicely. It's just a plain necklace with a pearl and single diamond pendant and the earrings are small pearl studs with a tiny diamond beneath them. I think it will go beautifully. Because I'm planning to have a headpiece of some sort, I didn't want anything that made too much of a statement. Better to keep it simple I think. Now I just have to find the headpiece! I'll send you some pics once the dress is finished so you can see what the ensemble looks like. Just let me know your email.

I went very simple with my jewellery...my friend in the end gave me for a pressie a pearl necklace which looked lovely with the dress and another friend gave me a pearl bracelet and then i had a veil and a tiara....
The dress is upstairs now, needing a wash!! I want to do it all over again! its over so fast!
