Oh my god they are making Rachel's Holiday By Marion Keyes into a movie. With Catherine Zete Jones as Rachel! Noooo!! I dont know about anyone else but i love that book and certainly didnt see Zeta Jones as Rachel. I imagined someone like Sienna Miller, Rachel Weisz or someother late 20s 30s Brit actor. But Zeta Jones!! I hope she does the book justice.
Also they are makong Shopaholic and totaly turned the story around with Isla Fisher as Rebeccas Blomwood.
Again i love they books. They are good for holiday or if you want cheered up. Im not a happy b2b.

Well I loved the book and I would have asumed that they would have picked an Irish woman for the book as the character is Irish, you know an unknown for th job.
I know!! I cant believe it. Also i so dont see cath zeta jones playing her. I hate when movies are not true to books.

I can't think of one book I have read where the movie was as good. I enjoyed lord of the rings films but they weren't like the books, and although some of the harry potters were good they didn't come close to the books.
I actually liked the movie of the Beach (with Leo) better than book! Sacrilege I know! That is the only one though.
I was so angry when they made a crap move of Count of Monte Cristo as the book is amazing!

I liked the Harry Potter movies but the books are way better. I hated the beach. It was a bit mad. I enjoyed the book tho. Altho Leo looked quite good and Robert Carlyle was great!

Lets hope that they don't mess with the story like they did with Watermelon & Lucy Sullivan is getting married for TV. Having loved the books I was completely disappointed by the amount of plot changes in both.

Apparently they are making The Lovely Bones into a movie!! I love that book- it's poignent (sp?) and well written and I hope that whoever does the film does the book justice!!!
The tv progs for watermelon and lucy was not too good. It could have been done so much beter.
Not said who luke is yet but the plot is already wrecked. PJ Hogan is the director he did My Best Friends Wedding.
Peter Jackson is the director for The Lovely Bones. I think it will be good with him at the camera. He also did the screenplay. I loved the book too so i hope the film is good too.

I loved the beach novel, extremely disappointed with the film though! To be honest Ive yet to find a film that does a book justice.
