Bride Candy: Estée Lauder Sumptuous Two Tone Eye-Opening Mascara

We're jumping on this worldwide mascara first that promises to instantly give brides an eye-opening look

The future isn't orange, the future is a different colour entirely - well, two colours in fact.

Because Estée Lauder has revealed its latest mascara innovation which is centred around using a different colour on the top and bottom lashes of the eye to create a open, brightening effect.

We're deeming it perfect for brides who want to appear energised and all of a flutter without spidery false lashes or heaps of their normal mascara.

The idea behind the product came from Estée Lauder's Creative Make-up Director, Tom Pecheux, who has forever been using the simple trick of two different colours on the opposing lashes to make models and celebrities peepers look bright and open. This two tone mascara goes one step further though, because of its innovative brushes. The exclusive BrushComber defines and thickens top lashes with a rich bold, black shade before you use a tiny micro brush to accentuate and define lashes with a softer, smudge-proof colour.

The mascara isn't available until June, but we're already in love, so pop it on your beauty wishlist and make sure to pick it up at your local beauty counter or order online at before the big day.

Yep I work in a salon and we do those... Never bad them before but don't want to try them Incase I react and I'm on honeymoon straight after so I would worry if I lost a few it would look silly x

Have you thought about false eyelashes/extensions?

The best mascara I ever used was ysl false lash mascara but then they changed something in it and I got watery eyes! It is fab if you don't react to it.

That's one you've got me thinking about, I'll see what's about for oily skin... Well I have an oily t zone but dry patches at the sides of my nose so I suppose its more combination.

Right ladies I'm after a very very very very waterproof mascara! I know I'll be an emotional wreck on the day so if anyone has read any reviews or knows of any mascara a please tell x

If you have oily skin have you thought about changing moisturiser so you have an oil controlling moisturiser and then a primer and then your foundation? I used to have such oiley skin before I started having microdermabrasion and using dermalogica barrier repair.

I will definitely have a look for the eye primer - my eyeshadow never seems to stay all day.

This is the look I would like to go for....
So I ended up with urban decay naked palette and I got a bobbi brown lipstick in gold beige and a nude lip liner few more things crossed off the list.

She also gave me 3 samples of the eye primer too! So I can use one in my trial, one on the day and have a spare x

Definately urban decay eyeshadow, although mostly they are very shimmery shades so depends on if that suits you or not?!? The primer they have is amazing though!

I have the Naked 2 palette, it's amazing!! It is a bit pricy, but it will last you forever and comes with a bottle of primer too
