Meghan Markle's Wedding Dress: Our Predictions
Is she going to honour her future husband's country and wear a British designer, or will she go off-piste with something unexpected?
We've placed our bets and rounded up our top 10 predictions for what will surely be one of the most-talked about weddings in history.
The Venezuelan designer is known for her timeless designs with a contemporary twist. We love this off-shoulder gown and the subtle princess vibe it creates, perfect for a modern royal. Carolina Herrera was worn by Meghan in her recent stunning Vanity Fair photoshoot - could this sway her decision?
A big trend at the moment is picking a second dress for the evening party - and we know that Meghan and Harry will put on a serious celebration! British designer Jenny Packham is one of our top predictions for the bride's reception dress. Renown for her use of embellishment and playful designs, Jenny Packham seems a cool choice for our American girl. We think this jumpsuit would be a perfect pick, but would the queen approve?
Dame Vivienne Westwood is an institution within British fashion, so is definitely a possible pick if Meghan chooses to follow in Kate's footsteps and opt for a designer from her husbands country. Known for her creative flair and strong British identity, she'd be a confident choice for Meghan's introduction into the royal family.
As Meghan hinted to Hello Magazine that her dream dress would be 'classic and simple', Chelsea couturier Phillipa Lepley could be on the shortlist. She creates wonderful gowns that are elegant, and will be appropriate should Meghan and Harry choose to wed somewhere traditional.
Our in-house expert Peta Hunt thinks Victoria Beckham could be a contender for Meghan's gown. "This would be a cool and effortlessly elegant choice for Meghan".

Oscar de la Renta
Romantic and dreamy, Oscar de la Renta could be the perfect mix of modern and elegant for Meghans dream dress. The brand has been known to create quirkier styles too including denim jackets and bold jewellery, so maybe the bride will let her personality shine through with the added details.
Meghan has previously said that she 'prefers dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic', and this dress from British designer Alice Temperley definitely ticks those boxes. The wrap around style would look incredible on Meghan's enviable figure, whilst the lace sleeves and slight train bring a traditional aspect to the big day without fully succumbing to the classic princess style.
There's been lots of talk about how Meghan will bring a fresh and contemporary approach to her royal wedding, but having previously commented about her love for gowns that show 'uniqueness and beauty', we can't rule out the possibility that she could surprise us all with a showstopping dress. If that's the case, our editor at large Peta Hunt predicts Elie Saab to be the brand of choice.
The clean lines and classic style of this dress from Emilia Wickstead's debut bridal collection could be a sweet pick for Meghan. Regardless of where the couple choose to wed, this modern gown will work wonderfully.
For a statement dress that will never go out of style, Sassi Holford is a fantastic choice. This open back and bow combo would look incredible spinning through the palace, and could be teamed with a cool jacket to add a fresh twist.
