Leona Lewis looks stunning in a sparkly gown by Claire Pettibone
Leona Lewis wearing a Claire Pettibone dress
British songbird Leona Lewis looked ready for the aisle recently as she walked the red carpet in a sparkling, floor-length, Claire Pettibone gown. The Bleeding Love and Collide singer who's been dating German dancer Dennis Jauch since last year looked every inch the star in the grecian-style cap-sleeved dress with multi-coloured sequins. She chose the Dragonfly gown, from the Spirit of The Night 2011 bridal collection, to wear to attend the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary benefit in LA.
Claire Pettibone's gorgeous gowns are famed for their ethereal, feminine lines and flowing fabrics. The American designer's most recent collection includes delicate lace and tulle creations with hints of Victoriana in their high necklines and printed sashes. The Spirit Of The Night collection also features jewelled embellishments and floral appliqué in vintage-inspired champagnes, ivories and pinks.
If you want to steal Leona's style, the Dragonfly gown retails at £7000, and is stocked exclusively in the UK at Blackburn Bridal Couture. You'll also find a wide range of new Claire Pettibone looks, as well as gowns from the likes of Cymbeline, Jenny Packham and Clinton Lotter at the boutique in London's Blackheath (blackburnbridal.co.uk).
