I have done everything now apart from my favours so im getting really impatient!

We're having our first banns read at church on sunday!

Where did you get personalised m&m's?!! Do they do black and white ones? xx

Our banns are being read this Sunday too!

You can only get the M&Ms in the US. I've got a friend who lives in there, so they'll be delivered to her house and brought over in her suitcase after xmas. If you've got someone with a US address you could get them delivered to their house and then posted over to you?

The site is http://www.mymms.com/
They do them in all colours

You can get M and Ms in any cash and carry...though not personalised obviously. But they are still yummy, i prefer the choc ones

I'm getting married 14th feb

Have everything pretty much sorted now. Just gotta find a bracelet to match the necklace and back jewel I have ordered gotta get little things like post box, petals for the tables etc. Was supposed to have my final dress fitting Thursday just gone but couldn't make it for the snow was really excited too.

So what's everyones dates and venues???

Well I am probably the most unorganised Feb bride! My fiance and I are getting married on the 26th Feb 2011, in Dunblane (The place on the news all the time due to the snow!)
We still have to make our order of service, pick one hymn and one reading. Buy shoes for BM's and pashmina's. Design and buy jewellry (I have a family member that is going to do it for me!)
Buy my favours.....eeeeeeeeek lots to do!
Time is flying by, I can't wait!!

Being married is way better than it looks in Corrie & Eastenders!

We're meeting with our reception venues wedding co-ordinator tonight! I've got loads of little niggly things that I want her to answer, so should hopefully get things sorted tonight.

Yep, MrsBarrowman2be, time really really is flying by - it's scaring me now!! I need to buy all the gifts and bridesmaid jewellery, plus a ton of candles and other pretty little decorative bits.

Whoopsuk1, I'm getting married in Egham, Surrey on 25th Feb, then having reception in the Tithe Barn at Great Fosters. That totally sucks about your dress fitting. Have you managed to re-schedule? I managed to get to my first dress fitting last Friday, but it was a major mission through the snow. I had my hair and makeup trials this week which went really well. xx

There really aren't many Feb brides on here!! That makes us extra special!
Christmas soon, then new year...then all of our wonderful weddings!

I'm one too, so am I special?!!!

Im getting married on 05 February in St Pauls Church, Woodford Bridge and then having my reception at Woolston Manor in Chigwell.

I made 90 white favour boxes this weekend and just need to fill with black shredded tissue, put the chocolates in, put the ribbons on them and add our personalised tags. - Just typing that made me realise that is a big job!!! xx

Hi all

We are marrying on 4th February in Southsea. Organising a wedding from Australia is challenging but we are getting there. I just need to get our wedding gift cd's pressed and to finalise all decorations and food options with the hotel. Final dress fitting in a week or so.

I wish you all a wonderful wedding. I am starting to get nervous now!

Poshpolly - we are date twins

well, I've finally had my final dress fitting! It fits perfectly, like a glove I love it soooo much. I've got to ring the registry office today to make an appointment to see the registrar. Need to go to our venue too to meet our master of ceremonies and talk about the day also got to meet our photographer to talk through what we want from the photos and to check out the photo opportunities. Got to go an see the florist and finalise our flowers. My hair trial is on 6th jan - really excited. Was hoping to have my make up trial on the same day but haven't heard back from the beautician yet. H2b is getting measured for his suits on 5th jan. It's all happening!!! I never thought there'd be so much to do!!

Me and h2b work awkward shifts too so trying to get days off together is a nightmare

how's everyone else getting on?

6 weeks on Monday for us now

Hi ladies, I'm a Feb bride too, Feb 13th at Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle - cant wait now. Dont seem too stressed at the momement though other than the thought of fitting in my dress - eeeek! x

Yay, more Feb brides! I am 12th Feb, any twins out there?

Wandereruk, I live in Australia too but decided against having a UK wedding in the end as it just seemed too hard with my job and limited time. Where abouts are you and where have you been all this time, wish I'd known there was another Aussie-based bride on here and February 2011 no less!!

MrsBarrowman2be, I think I'm the most unorganised Feb bride so don't worry as you're way ahead of me! I am a doctor and it has just been so hard to find time to do everything and it takes me forever to make a considered decisions/make appointments/research suppliers etc.

Can you believe I have only booked my band and videographer today, with less than 6 weeks to go!? Its actually not that bad, as you get fantastic discounts for last-minute bookings, over $1000 (about £650 - wedding is in Sydney) off the videographer and over $700 (about £400) off the band and they are both fantastic. I have millions of other things to do as well but luckily am only working day shifts for the next 6 weeks so should make life a bit easier...here goes:
- Have pre-wedding photo shoot (booked for 14th Jan)
- Have tasting and choose food at reception venue (booked for 28th Jan)
- Finalise music choices for ceremony and reception (nearly there!)
- Chase last few outstanding RSVPs (nearly there!)
- Finalise ceremony wording (nearly there!)
- Produce Order of Service (in draft, just needs printing)
- Final meeting with celebrant (need to book ASAP)
- H2B organising honeymoon activity gift list (bit of an after-thought, didn't originally want one)
- Get flat shoes for evening and underwear (know what I want, just need to actually get to the shops to buy!)
- Finalise centrepieces (this is the major stress at the mo! Planned to make my own, but may give in to the florist!)
- Buy gifts for BMs and my best friend who has helped me soooo much in a unofficial capacity

So scary seeing it all written down...I think I can tick off a lot in the next fortnight though. Good luck everyone! xxx

My favours are taking forever to make but look really lovely! I am quite impressed with myself!

I have another dress fitting on 17th Jan and then my final fitting on 31st Jan with my rehearsal at the church straight afterwards!

30 days to go, I had nightmares about things going wrong again last night and woke up crying! So dramatic lol!

What is everyone doing about keeping warm? I haven't bought anything yet and not sure if I should, my dress is a realy light champagne colour and my bridesmaids are in black and champagne so its a bit hard to get something that will match.

xx

I'm getting married on the 25th Feb at Loch Lomond and I'm getting sooo excited!! Still got quite a list of things to do but its nothing too major. My other half is living in America just now so I won't see him until a week before the wedding!

I still can't believe it has come round so fast!!

My dress comes with a wee bolero but I'm prob not going to use it. The ceremony and reception are at the same place so hopefully won't be outside too much!
