Hey March brides,

Just wanted to say hi really, and see how your planning is coming along?

I can't believe how quickly time is flying now! I'm doing so much wedding stuff at the moment... and it finally feels like it's all coming together

This week has been all go! I had a dress fitting last Saturday, which I'm having custom made - and I'm relieved to say that I absoltely love it! I met with my cake lady on Monday and my reception venue tonight... I've got the vicar coming round next week too!! Ooo and I had my teeth whitened today in preperation for the wedding!! I've always wanted it done, so I thought I'd treat myself

What are you up to at the mo?

We just ordered all our gifts for the wedding party and they started arriving yesterday got soooo excited!!!

im off to my parents house in couple of weeks to sort out flowers and other bits and hubby to be is going to get his suit at end of month!

65 days to go for us. dont think im gonna be excited till its a bit closer! worst bit is im going to see westlife the week after the wedding and im not even a bit excited while all my mates are lol

Vicvac17 - SNAP! I'm March 19 too!

It's all go go go with us. Last week we booked our honeymoon, bought our rings and added our items to our gift list.

On Monday we had our second meeting with our priest and picked our readings. We have one more meeting on Jan 31st to confirm all details then our rehearsal on March 11th and that's it!

We picked our hymns today and i'm seeing the florist tomorrow to go through arrangements for the church and my flowers. Going out later for H2B suit fitting with best men!

Starting to work on our order of service too so that it's reading for priest when we see him at the end of the month!

We bought our rings a few months ago main problem for us is we live so far from our venue and due to the ammount of holiday other half gets at work hes now not gonna be able to come up till we actually go for the wedding

my poor mum is being left as go between us and venue. thank goodness for national express fun fairs on the coaches means i can go up every few weeks to sort stuff out.

just sent out the 2nd batch of day invites as we got so many refusals from first lot

we decided not to do a gift list and just said vouchers for thomas cook to help pay for honeymoon. didnt really see the point when we have already been living together for 2 years and have everything we need for our flat.

We just need to choose readings and people to do them at the ceremony

We are getting very excited too!!

Almost wishing the days of January away so we can say we are getting married next month!

We are in the process of setting up meetings with our suppliers. Everything has been booked and now paying off the balances.

Meeting up with our Priest next Saturday to finalise details for the ceremony and two weeks after then the banns start.

Looking forward to trying on my dress on 7th February. Have also booked in lots of treatments in the lead up to the wedding along with gym sessions. I am one busy lady. xx

snap! 47 days to go! just went and put my dress on for the first time without a baby bump and i am relieved to say i absolutey love it! eeeek

Got a dress fitting tomorrow!! Really hope i didnt put a lot of weight on over christmas hehe have been down the gym though so im sure ive made up for it

Going to look at rings at the weekend.

Got my bridesmaids thank you gifts. Just got to get the rest now.

Still need to sort out my flowers!!

I spent this morning wrapping up all our thank you gifts and packing them in bubble wrap and boxing them up to take to my mums when i go up this week!

all we need to do now is sort out what we want on the buffets at reception and evening do and finalise the flowers.

What are you all getting for thank you gifts for people? I've only found 1 necklace i liked for B'maid so far (2 more to get) and the best man we got a nice hip flask for, but not sure for ushers.

i got two gorgeous necklaces from oddly enough the jewlery at tesco direct as we could not find anything we liked on high street.

we got cufflinks for ushers & father of groom. engraved glass for grooms mum, engraved glass tankard for best man & engraved hip flask for groomsman. got my mum a lovely photo frame and my dad we found this lovely father of the bride poem on ebay so got him that plus got it framed and gonna get him a bottle of his fave whiskey.

its worth having alook on ebay at the stores as you can get some gorgeous suff. the tankard we got best man only took 5 days from ordering to it being delivered!

Hi everyone,

I only have 38 days to go now!!! I'm pretty much sorted now, already got my dress as the shop closed down a week ago so i had to collect it! Been and sorted the seating at the reception this week and just buying last little bits and pieces now!!!! It's coming round so quickly!!!

Been soooo busy this week at my mums lol had hair trials yesterday and this morning in between dentist and florist visit!
confirmed all the flowers now just waiting on price

coming back up in 3 weeks for dress fittings and a mini hen night with my mum & 1 bridesmaid. might get all the girlies together night b4 wedding when we all together!

woo hoo 46 days! dads just been on phone to let me know hes put our service arrangment forms in and paid registrar for us

hes also met the registrar doing our ceremony and said shes lovely! so thats another thing crossed off the list! just need to decide on how to have my hair now!
