elle88, I am sending out my Save the Date cards at christmas to all our day guests (some of them are coming from abroad so wanted to give them plenty of notice). Then will prob send invitations 6-8 weeks before with requests for RSVPs for a month before. TBH I think it is your own personal preference when it comes to sending invitations, you just need to strike a balance that it is not so far off that guests will have forgotten and not so close that you get yourself into a fluster if ppl haven't replied.
So anyway how is everyone getting on? I had an appt at Phillippa Lepley on fri and I think I may have found the one! I almost cried when I put it on and couldn't stop smiling even afterwards, the one draw back is it quite pricey and I need to weigh up whether I can justify the cost!
We are also finalising the guest list and about to send off for a quotation for the stationery.
Finally I have also had consent from my old school chaplain that he is happy to marry us there! Such a big weight off my mind!
It already feels as though time is passing very quickly! Has anyone else found that? xxx
