On Friday morning I was 17 pounds down, though this morning only 13.5, I had a big night out Friday d'oh! My target was to be 19 pounds down by this Thursday so that looks to have gone out of the window, still holding a glimmer of hope it might happen, when you drink you become dehydrated, when you're dehydrated your body holds on to water which makes you heavier...we'll see!
I haven't done a proper diet, more healthy eating really, though I do keep in mind one of the old Rosemary Conley diets (food should be less than 5% fat (less than 5g per 100g), and approx 1500 calories a day). Keeping a fridge full and ensure we plan and go shopping every few days for fresh food has kept us on it too (my other half has lost a similar amount), spending more at the supermarket but not spending on meals out/takeaways/snacks etc. We joined the gym in December, he's doing really well with it but I ave a foot injury and haven't been able to go for a month (it's only a collapsed arch but my god it kills and it was the treadmill + cheap trainers that did it!)
Sugar free jelly is quite good for sweet cravings, glace cherrys are high calorie, but if you do have a sweet craving, one or two of them really take it off! I love my wholemeal bagels for brekkie too, and have tried to limit carbs, I would say every other lunch is carb free, and approx 5 nights a week is also carb free.
I found last week I struggled with not having any crunchy food (it's not just flavour you miss but textures I guess etc), so bought some Ryvita Thins Cheddar and Black Pepper, and some Krisprolls, and stocked up on a variety of philly flavours.
I ordered my wedding dress a size too small, this week I have an appointment with the dress shop to look for a shrug/cape, and they want me to try it on with their sample dress, which is the size they wanted me to order, I'm hoping it will be looser and/or if they take my measurements I'll at least have lost an inch. Can't cope with having them nag me if not!!!
