Hi all,

Looking to get married at Loch Lomond Waterfront next year however there is a complete lack of reviews online from anyone else thats had there wedding there

Whist looking online I was linked to this site where a few others were asking the same and I know a few people had their wedding planned here over the last couple of years so hoping for some opinions?

Has anyone even been a guest at a wedding here - any opinions on the venue would be most welcome 8)

Hi

I stayed there for a holiday back in November 2010 and I have to say the lodges are amazing!! Clean, modern, nicely decorated, and the hot tubs are great. We are hoping to go back in June for a family holiday. there is a pub in the nearest village that does amazing food and the atmosphere is cosy and quaint. As for wedding, I cant really help you there. But I have to say the lodges look out to the loch so it would be a lovely place to get married! xx

Hiya!

I've not been to a wedding there but we had our minimoon break up there. The place is fabulous, I was remarking to my husband while we were checking in (after I'd had a nosey at what would be the reception room - beautiful big windows with a lovely view out to the Loch) that this would be a fantastic place for a wedding.

The lodge we stayed at was very modern and bright, and the set out of the lodges is really good too as you have a bit of privacy.

Thanks ladies

Hopefully someone will come along that has had or been to a wedding there.

The other one we are looking at is The Cruin on Loch Lomond

Hiya
I got married at the Cruin September 09, it was absolutely fantastic, the staff were brilliant and always happy to help, they encouraged you to go up to the venue (even when setting up for other weddings) to look round. The staff took all the panic out of the day and it was and still is a day to be remembered our families still talk of our wedding day and thats two and a half years on. The views are amazing from there as well. Hope you find your venue and wish you well for your big day.

I got married at the Waterfront Loch Lomond last year (almost a year ago). (I did a wedding report on here so you should be able to click on my profile and see photos). We got married on the beach with our reception in the main hall. It was an amazing wedding, the food was fantastic and the wedding co-ordinator Sheena really takes the stress out of everything. We had exclusive use of the site from Friday to Monday and the whole wedding party stayed over.

The only slight negative I would say is that we found that there were a few hidden charges and the overall cost of the wedding ended up being more than we initially thought. However, our wedding was one of the first they did and from looking at the brochures it looks like the charges etc are now a bit clearer.

If you would like to ask any specific questions feel free to PM me.
