Ok so just heard the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged!!! (I love the royals so any news about them I'm interested in! I know not everyone does so wouldn't be as enthused as me haha!)

'They' (whoever they are) think that Prince Harry and Meghan may get married spring next year, I'm now thinking wouldn't it be funny if it was near our wedding date. Probably wouldn't be the same day as ours is a Friday and I'm sure they'd have it on a Saturday. I've obviously thought a lot about it haha! Saddo!

Anyway from one engaged couple to another, congratulations Harry and Meghan!

(Maybe Meghan, or even Harry, will come on here for some inspiration or to moan they haven't got enough money to have a tree lined aisle at the Abbey! )

So I'm a complete noob! I wrote in my last post that I hadn't recieved the 'Advice for the Bride and Groom' cards and 'I Spy' cards for disposable cameras. I emailed the supplier and she replied saying she definitely sent them and sent proof. M was looking at it and I'd put the wrong house number!! I moved 7 months ago and sometimes still write my old address. This time I'd got most of the address right but just put my old house number.

So we thought we'd try and ask the people at the house number I'd given if they had our things. She said she had but she'd sent them back as she had no idea who they were for etc. She was nice, it's obviously not her fault and she did the right thing. So I emailed the supplier lady and hopefully she gets them back and can send them again and I'll just pay postage. If not I wasted £20.....yay!

Moral of the story......always check your orders and delivery addresses!

Fingers crossed the cards get back to the seller!

Shoes!!!!

Was having a look through a wedding magazine this morning and chatting to my mum. We started talking about wedding shoes. Mum said I should start looking and if I found something I liked she'd get them for me for Christmas <3 So I found some!! I wanted flats from the start because M is the same height as me and I didn't want to be towering over my groom. Also I don't fare well with heels and wanted to be comfy. These are my shoes:

They are Ciara by Benjamin Adams. Got them half price from House of Frasier. They will be delivered tomorrow, so excited!!!!

That's a shame they were too small!

Youngest daughter didn't have a meltdown on stage, yay! She needs a lot of encouragement with these kinds of things. Her older sister is the confident one. Off to see Santa at some point over the weekend. Fingers crossed I start feeling Christmassy soon!

Aw bless her, good on her for getting up there! I know what you mean about not feeling Christmassy. I think everything is just extra busy and with the wedding being so close as well it's hard to feel Christmassy.

I ordered a size bigger and they're perfect!! So excited to wear them. Also because they're peep toe they'll show a bit of my pedi. Small things make me happy haha! Getting more and more excited about the wedding!!!
