Review: Pegasus Health Spa

Nothing kicks off, or rounds up a trip to paradise like an indulgent spa session…

Pegasus health spa

Picture the scene: you and your newlywed hubby have just returned from honeymoon bliss in the Seychelles and as you wait by the luggage belt filled with post-paradise blues, you begin to prepare yourself for a life without clear blue waters and total serenity. Stop! We've found the perfect way to ease yourself back into reality…

We headed to the Pegasus Health Spa at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow Hotel after a long-haul flight to experience the benefits of after-travel pampering – and what a treat it was! Located inside Heathrow Airport, as the name suggests, it’s a stone’s throw away from the arrivals lounge.

With an aromatic steam bath, sauna, a plunge pool and a relaxation lounge, it’s a blissed-out pamper haven. Plus there are tons of treatments available too –we recommend the Revitalising Eye Rescue treatment for early bird flyers. Puffiness and bags – be gone! Or for ultimate chill time, enjoy a jet-lag-friendly hot stone massage, where heat from black basalt stones relax the muscles and relieve tension.

You’ll head home feeling fresh and revitalised, or you can make an evening of it and spend the night at the hotel. Voila! Your very own post-honeymoon-mini-moon. We like.

For cool honeymoon style, we love this private jet (without the hefty price tag)
