Ok now I've become officially sad............... a girl sat next to me on the tube last night reading a wedding mag, and instead of keeping quiet and playing poker on my Nintendo DS I had to ask her why she had that mag?????? I then gave her my card and introduced her to the website....I was a little shocked that I have now started approaching strangers and started handing out cards.........however all was not lost she emailed me this morning and said that she had been on the website all last night, so welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now back to my real job......I have just found a couple of really good websites for the couple who have everything.....including children I have found www.couverture.co.uk a shop in trendy Nottinghill.
The shop stocks a range of collectibles, antiques and one-off pieces ranging from ceramics, glass, textiles and objets d’art to toys, The Pom Pom cashmere mix tea pot cosy for £45 and A Large French music box for £20.
Talking of gifts, a shop I have banned myself from (I have a shopping problem in there, I can't stop buying and we really don't need another sofa!) Liberty of London, has launched its first e-commerce site, so you can buy handbags, ties and travel lines as well as exclusive limited edition pieces.
www.libertyoflondon.com So much cheaper to shop on line then you don't pick up other bits!
Then finally for today, if you're getting married abroad check out this site www.babyceylon.com if you or your wedding party, want to look elegant and chic yet still manage to remain comfortable,Baby Ceylon’s crepe pieces ensure that you don’t have to worry about looking creased, for the Bride - For a wedding dress with a difference, in a hippy boho way with long fluted sleeves, For £175 I think it's great value. For Bridesmaids , they have a capped sleeve dress with a real 1940’s feel for £110. Plus if you mum doesn't want to be trussed up like a turkey, they have a few dresses in t thicker crepe material that flatters most sizes, and the sheer sleeves ensure that your arms are covered but you don't get heat stroke all for £115
